This place has come a long way since it first opened. In a good way. I’m actually surprised it survived covid. However, this place is pretty good now. The pizza and cheese fries are hard to beat in this small town. No matter how many times I pass by or order pizza or dine in this place will always be Shenduns to me.

Went to Ciro’s late one Wednesday evening, after church. It was close to closing, but the staff insisted on serving us anyway. They were super pleasant and accommodating, and the food was fantastic. Highly recommended!

The salad that came with the pasta had lettuce, tomato, cucumber, red onion, and croutons. The croutons were chewy but the homemade ranch dressing is so good, you could drink it. The fettuccine alfredo is creamy with heavy garlic, delicious! The steak was undercooked, but had great flavor. The garlic bread has a slightly crispy outside and chewy inside, a perfect dipping bread. We were offered dessert, but had no room. Service was prompt with a smile, no wait, but we arrived before the dinner rush.

I ordered chicken parmigiana and didn’t realize you had to request your chicken to be breaded. I order this at other restaurants and have never been served just plain chicken on spaghetti with a sauce that taste nothing like a tomato sauce. It was the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted!!! You should be informed you have to request the breaded style chicken when ordering, which is how it should be served. A couple bites and it went right in the trash.

We ordered a pizza, steak and cheese and a side of fries. Our fries are pictured. Unappetizing. The pizza was extremely thin and not good. The steak and cheese was the best part of our meal. Only place in Grottoes that delivers so we tried it again (unsatisfied the first time we ordered too) we won’t be ordering here again.

Pure disappointment! This place used to be great! I ordered two chicken cheese steak sub deluxe for delivery. The order arrived with the cold drink tied inside the bag..one drink was in a cup..thr both were warm. The food was cold, french fries soggie and wet, a nd the bread was not toasted..on the plus side..the sub was flavorful, but bread was soggie. 1 star rating.
