As someone who’s from the New York/New Jersey area, few New York style pizzerias in this area actually live up to what I want. But Ciro’s is fantastic and the most authentic New York pizza I’ve had since moving to VA. Really great slices, salad, garlic knots etc… and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. I come here pretty much weekly and always leave happy. Thank you for giving me a taste of home!

The best pizza in the area! I’m not from NY but my fiancé is & it got a 4/5ths thumbs up right out of the delivery box. That means likes an 11/10 for anywhere outside of NY. Get a couple of extra cups of sauce… the wings & pepperoni roll are excellent too!

I’m done with this place. The pizza is good but the service and the attitude of the people who work there is terrible. The owner is sarcastic on the phone and his employees act like they hate their jobs. You walk in there and there are no smiling faces, no cheerful greetings, just a bunch of unhappy people with no manners and no ability to say “please” or “thank you.”

The workers here look like they hate their life, but at least they got my order right and the food is damn good. Went here with some friends, one who is from NYC and said the pizza here is reminiscent of the slices back home. Pretty much everything we got was great. Highly recommend the fries and greek salad to accompany the pizza.

Great tasting pizza. Decent prices. Comfortable seating…. review update: have to drop them down to 3 stars now as they have made some changes. Paper plates in stead of real ones, used bring the pizza out to you now they just scream your order, and seems the tv is now on high volume destroying the quiet environment. Very disappointed…

Pretty good place and it was fairly busy when I went; so that says something. You can get take out or order at the counter and dine in. It’s seat yourself and drinks from the fountain. They serve sandwiches, calzones, pizza, and pasta. They also serve beer; Blue Moon and Corona were some of the offerings that I saw.

This should explain it all, the pizza is really good for the area. I stumbled upon this gem accidentally and we enjoyed it to the last bite. The pizza isn’t the traditional NY pizza that we are use to but it’s a great alternative being so far from home. I’d come back in a heart beat. Crust was crunchy, the sauce had that perfect( a little light though) pool of oil on top of the cheese. Your plate won’t be soaked with oil but it’s good enough!
