Consider yourself warned. Worst food we have ever had. This was our first time here and we met up with relatives visiting from out of state. I ordered the burnt ends. My relatives ordered a variety of meats, sandwiches, and sides. My food, the burnt ends, was horrible…so SALTY…it was as if some salt accident occurred in the kitchen. I don’t know if the lid fell off the salt shaker in there or if the chef is missing all their salt taste buds but it wasn’t fit for consumption. My uncle had a sandwich with burnt ends and he also was gagging on salt. I felt awful for him as he is a heart transplant recipient and is supposed to watch his salt. My cousin had some side that was so bad she exchanged it for slaw which was also bad. Others tried it and agreed it was nasty. She wasn’t about to exchange anything again as everything seemed to go from bad to worse. The food is quite expensive as well especially since it wasn’t even edible. The restaurant was empty and now I fully understand why. My family was also scolded by the employees before heading inside because I guess they were standing close to the door (waiting for my arrival) but there weren’t even any customers, so that was a bit weird and not very welcoming. This is another place that automatically expects a tip when paying for food at a counter when I have not been served or even tasted the food. I am waiting for that level of nonsense to come to an end. Customers ought not put up with such foolishness from any establishment. Tips are for a job well done and excellent food so please stop pestering customers for tips prior to their dining experience. These places should be ashamed of themselves. I’ll steer clear of this place from now on. I’m not even sure why they have a bathroom…their customers will be busy retaining fluids given the level of salting happening in the kitchen.

My family and my favorite bbq in Springfield Missouri. I always get the brisket and pork belly which is basically thick-cut smoked bacon very good and pulled pork sandwich with potato salad and Cole slaw. They have 3 sauces which are also very good the regular bbq, the spicy bbq, and a mustard-based bbq sauce. I recommend this place to everyone. Definitely have to give them a try.

Very polite folks who helped us when we ordered and the food was absolutely incredible I got a burnt end Sandwich and enjoyed and savored every bite. My significant other got the sweaty Texan sandwich which was brisket and links he loved it but couldn’t finish it was a great portion. We got a cookie on the special menu to share and it was the best cookie we’ve ever had. You could really tell everything was homemade and made with love. We will definitely make the trip to come back out here again. Definitely recommend.

Very good. I’ve not had Texas BBQ, but it was explained to me by a customer who is, it’s just Meat salt and pepper. The cracked pepper flavor was very prevalent, luckily I like black pepper. Flavors were good, burnt ends were nice and tender. Nothing here I must have. The jalapeño cheese corn was freaking fire- like I mean spicy AF. I love spicy and wasn’t expecting something claiming to be hot actually being hot. 3 stars because lunch was $50. Two sandwiches, two cokes and split a side. Ouch. Pretty pricey…

I have never had Texas BBQ before yesterday. Man I like it!! Went to lunch with my beautiful wife after mass on Sunday. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door. The man who took and prepared our order was very helpful and nice. We were going to set outside so as we waited for our food I walked through the restaurant. It was very clean, inside and out. We did not wait 5 minutes for our food. We choose a table outside and pulled our food out of the bag. My wife had the burnt end sandwich. The burnt ends were perfect. I had the Sweaty Texan sandwich. It had brisket and Texas hot links. I was very pleased. We shared a medium jalapeño cheesy corn. It was delicious but it does have some heat. I will return.

I had the burnt ends sandwich, coleslaw, and a half link of sausage. It was all incredible. Burnt ends were crunchy on the outside and succulent on the inside, the coleslaw had a bit of mustard seed added in which was unexpected but now the only way I want to have coleslaw. The house barbecue sauce for dipping was tangy and sharp, but it honestly wasn’t even needed because of how flavorful everything was. The sausage was almost buttery in the best way. It was rather expensive, but you could tell that the expense went straight into the quality of the meat and sides. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone passing through that has a chance to try it.

being visiting the area, didn’t know good place to eat, so I went there by reccomendation by a local friend. You can choose take-out or dine in, we choose the latter. location itself is very basic, just table/seats without waiters, but boys, the meat is GOOD! we choose pulled port and burnt ends (the best part of the brisket) and it was definitely good choice. just be aware once they finish the daily availability (as it is cooked in the proper way, they need time to get the daily batch ready for serving), there is no more!

I got burnt ends and they were not like they used to be. These were very hard and tough. They used to melt in your mouth and were so good. Something was way off.

It was okay the sides were so spicy we couldn’t eat them. The beans and rice and corn. The line took forever to get through they would take 1 order and fill the order then move to the next. It took about 30 to get through the line. Meat was amazing as always but sides least to be desired.
