Diner food isn’t my favorite so I was skeptical but this place is amazing. I got the grilled cheese with tomato bisque and it was ridiculously good. The bread was so buttery and crisp. Reuben was maybe the best I’ve had. The short stack was giant. Oh, and the fries! Service was spot on, the decor is old and weird and great. Kids loved it and we did, too. I’d have loved an actual kids menu with pricing and details but other than that the experience was perfect. Highly recommend.

Wow talk about a blast from the past! Going back to the 60s 50s 40s absolutely love the ambiance food was really good had a burger it was cooked perfectly coleslaw was one of the best I’ve ever had hard to find good coleslaw in florida. Service was a little odd overall definitely worth the trip.

We were visiting some friends that were in the area and decided to look for a place to have lunch. The City Diner turned up on my navigation system and when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised. This is a well themed restaurant with a definite 50s vibe to it. The decor can also be seen on the outside of the building. It is something to see and reminisce. It wasn’t crowded at all and the food and service were excellent. They serve mostly comfort food and have some great looking desserts too. The prices were also very reasonable. If you are in the area make sure to stop on by, you won’t regret it.

Just a good old fashioned diner serving good food, fast service with great classic vintage Americana decor. You have to love the Lionel train circling above as you enjoy your meal. Indoor and outdoor dining as well as counter seating for those who are solo! I love America and City Diner is America!
