The food and service was excellent. The waitress went above and beyond. We weren’t rushed at all and the food came out very quickly. We met the owner and told him about our last experience with the old owners and staff. He couldn’t believe how bad the food and service was before. My only issue was the music was a little loud.

Ate here for the first time since it became City Diner! Service was excellent with Kathleen at the helm and the food was served hot and fast! We sat outside; very nice area. The inside was packed at 1:30 pm with a 10 minute wait so that told me the food was good- we were not disappointed. We will be back!

Prices are (3) star. I ordered Chicken Fried Steak, it was large size and very good. Came with (2) sides. I got mash potatoes and House Salad was a up-charge of $1.25. Military discount 10% and LEO 50% off. Recommend with the discounts.

We went here for breakfast and was so delighted when we opened the door to see fresh baked goods. We knew we were in for good food as the place was packed for a Sunday morning. They did not disappoint! Service was great and food arrived quickly despite being busy. Can’t wait to go back.

This diner has horrible service and treatment of costumers. We received the wrong type of salmon meal. When we asked the waiter about this and told her how the kids wouldn’t eat the meal, and that we ordered grilled salmon instead of the smoked salmon we received. She was adamant that this was not true and did not attempt right the situation in any type of way. We had not had our food for more than 20 minutes and the waitress took the two wrong orders away, leaving them with nothing while the rest of us already had our food. While waiting for the rest of our party (the father of the two children) the manager of the establishment came to our table and started berating us, almost yelling at us about how our server was an hour past her shift end, and had to leave to go home her kids. Reminding you that the diner is open 24/7 we were not pushing any closing times and we only had our food for 30 minutes. This was in no way our fault for their bad scheduling management, and the manager was so aggressive, she even made one of girls sitting at our table start to cry. We were in no way loud or obnoxious and didn’t cause any trouble other than the wrong orders which was not even an inconvenience to them since they didn’t attempt to fix it. Once the manager realized how unprofessional she was acting once she saw her crying, she offered to take off one of the wrong orders and replace it with what we actually ordered. Leaving us to pay for the other wrong order and a new meal for the second child. We even got overcharged 10$ for two children chocolate milks which were extremely tiny, and the waiter even admitted that she refuses to sell them since they are so over priced but did not bother warn us of the price, which was not on the menu.

Great service! Everything was so fresh and delicious. Three, yes three, attentive waitresses that made sure I had the best service. My GF had tea and tomato juice, smoked salmon eggs benedict over hash browns. I had a bacon egg and cheese bagel. Also, we took a salmon bagel to go (see pic)

I stopped in with my daughter’s the host said sit any where you like . Our server was very nice took our drink orders asked if we had any questions about the menu .I ordered the hot open roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and vegetables I asked for lots of gravy so good, one daughter got the healthy veggies rap with sweet potatoes made into tater tots so good , last one got a burger that was cooked very nicely. This is one of these places the locals want you to drive past . Dont miss it your belly will thank me.

French toast had good flavor. Hash browns were well done. Waffles here are delicious, airy and light. Enjoyed the fact that they offer turkey bacon. Although would have been nice if they had turkey sausage as well.
