On the way home from the farm, decided to try a new place, The City Hall Pub in Manchester. Park your politics at the door, this is where you go to relax, chill, kick back and let the spirits flow and the conversations too. The pub food was great! Started with drinks, has a great appetizer spinach queso with toasted pita chips…the City Hall Burger cooked to perfection and a Caribbean BBQ Chicken on a Pretzel Bun delicious…everything fresh..even my side a cucumber salad was refreshing on a hot summer day. Our host, bartender, waiter was witty, fast and friendly..everything a neighborhood pub should be..will be back. Thanks for a great meal ..time well spent.

Tried this place out after an event in the area. Had a lot of great reviews. From the moment we walked in, we had amazing service. They were on top of coming over, getting drink and food order. Food came out fast and hot, which was also amazing. Drinks were amazing. They had live entertainment. But above all, i was really impressed with the service from both bartender and waitress. Awesome job guys! Keep it up!

This was my first visit, I’m not much of a bar guy.. however, this place left me feeling welcomed / wonderfully latered! The rain drove me in, but the atmosphere made me savor my drink. Word around town is the espresso martini will melt your tasters right off. In a good way

We came in from Raleigh today and this spot was recommended. I’m so glad we came. They had a great band and happy hour specials. The cocktails were delicious for me and my husband enjoyed the beer sections! The servers were helpful with local recommendations to help us enjoy our stay in Manchester!

Very odd and disappointing place. Met friends there on a Thursday night. The first thing that hit me was that the place was empty (for good reason I later found out). The staff was very friendly and they had top shelf liquor, which surprised me as the place had all the looks of a biker bar. Menu was unappealing–all sandwiches and no fried food (pay the insurance premium and serve fries for God’s sake), just bags of chips. Ordered my burger medium rare but it didn’t matter–everyone’s burger came gray throughout. The clientele started to filter in and it looked like maybe there was a tuner-car club event next door and they all decided to have a drink there–except they weren’t together. The band they had was god-awful. A bass, drums and a piano. Meant they couldn’t play anything well so they compensated by being so loud you couldn’t have a yelling conversation with your neighbor. By 8:30 the place was empty again. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Good service, the rest is not good.

Out of towner looking for a place to kill 15 minutes. Found this spot. Great blue cheese garlic bread, solid selection of liquor, and of course McKenzie was a very laid back, chill bartender. Gave great recommendations for things to do while I was up there … and I’ll be back.
