amazingggggg! with those service hours, you already know the food going to be good. oxtails were super tender, and seasoning on everything was great. something was a little on spicier side for my family but it was worth the heat. slayyyyy

First time going yesterday had no idea they existed they should definitely promote the food and the portion size was amazing. I’m trying to get my brother to bring me more lol I had ox tails Mac n cheese, Caribbean rice & cabbage everything I got was amazing. My friend got jerk chicken and she enjoyed it. Cornbread was ok to much sage for my tasting but the rest of the food made up for it.

All jerk and no salt on the chicken, a little bland and half of it was dry… Great thing everything else I ordered was good… The portions sizes are decent and the takeout packaging was sealed well for transportation and safety… The fried fish and shrimp was yummy!!! The food has a good amount of heat and the sauces are okay… The sides are really well made, you can’t go wrong with either choice… Definitely get the sautéed cabbage and Granny’s yams… The cornbread is nothing out of the ordinary and is cut into child size portions, maybe to save on cost… But, come on it’s just cornbread… The rice and gravy is good…Inside is clean and inviting but it is not reflected in the customer service unfortunately… This place is definitely worth a try if you’re in the mood for Caribbean food…I just hope your experience is more pleasant than mine… Happy feasting!!!

I just happened to wake up and want oxtails ! So I found this place on google. Baby when I tell you I was so mad I didn’t tip enough when I left because the food was AMAZING! Literally chefs kiss ! Everything was fresh and so flavorful. I got the oxtails over red beans & rice and a side of cat fish nuggets just because. You know the food was good if I left a review because I never do that lol. 100/10 !

Food is delicious but I ordered 3 orders of oxtail with one side and was told that I could only order 1 oxtail with one and if I wanted to order more oxtail I would have to order the full meal which include 3 side. I just Love love this place, the food has hooked me in I have tried a few other places but they can’t top City Jerk. I stay at least 40 mins away and I will drive there to get me some City Jerks. The place is neat and clean with a welcoming warm atmosphere. Customer service is out of this world. Wish I could just put the in my house and have it for dinner everyday. I have been going for awhile now and not once has they disappointed me. Food is full of flavor. You want be disappointed if you go.

I went here for the first time this past weekend and the food was amazing. My husband and I got the jerk chicken, red beans & rice with gravy, cabbage, and macaroni & cheese. At first, we were kind of disappointed because we went for oxtails and they were sold out for the day at least we thought. After we ordered food 2 more couples came in after us wanting oxtails and were informed as well they were out for the day. Shortly after everyone had received their food the cashier brought some additional food out for the last couple that was coming in for the first time as well which was oxtails. I believe the cashier was trying to be discreet but the customer announced it loud enough for us to hear while sitting right next to them. That was kind of a disappointment to be informed they were out just to see them bring some out for someone that ordered well after our arrival. I’m still willing to give this spot another visit since the food made up for what I feel was not the best customer service seeing that I had my tastebuds set on getting oxtails when I arrived.
