Good club sandwich & excellent fries. However, the massive amount of flies was disgusting & irritating, plus things did not look clean. Place was severely outdated, although we appreciated their attempt at keeping the long history of the place intact & on display. Young waitress was polite & attentive.

Found them by accident on a Sunday morning while traveling. It was like stepping back in time to the neighborhood diners of my youth and i mean that in the most positive of ways. I was feeling very ill so ordered light only to discover my wallet missing. (Thankfully found and returned intact a short time later.) They were nice enough to allow me to double check my car and, failing that, have a friend in MI pay the tab (with tip) with their debit card over the phone. Old fashioned atmosphere, service and treatment all await you if you’re willing to take a little trip off the beaten path. Discover what America used to be like!

We read the reviews and were excited to try their breakfast, but was told at 10:45am that they were “now serving lunch” and then proceeded to watch all of the tables around us order and get served breakfast. Opted to order coffee and cinnamon rolls (since they “had 2 left”)–they were amazing, but we were looking for a bigger meal. The server made it clear she was barely tolerating us, we left disappointed.
