This food is legit!! My husband and I shared the fried catfish with dirty rice and green beans and I got the “veggie” plate which is made up of your choice of 3 sides. I chose the Mac n cheese, Greens and Pinto Beans. Plus some cornbread. Every bite was delicious, flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Stacy served us at the bar and was helpful and super friendly. She told us they have brunch on too. We will definitely be back soon for that!

This was my first time at this restaurant. The atmosphere was cool and laid back. There was live music when I was there. It was too loud to have a good conversation but great if you want entertainment with dinner. The service was decent. She seemed impatient about the questions I asked about the food. I have dietary restrictions so I have to ask when I go out to eat. The soul food egg rolls were good but the rest was just okay to me. I had the blackened fish, potato salad and greens. The fish and greens were a little too salty for me. My friend said her rib tips were just okay as well. Overall, it was a good experience.

Man I was looking for great soul food while in the area. I waited over 35 minutes and didn’t even get greeted by anyone. Granted the karaoke atmosphere was great; but, the service was TERRIBLE. No one scanned the floor to see if I needed water much less a drink or a meal. I just had to leave disgusted and hungry. I guess it’s Dominos at the hotel for me. I was here from 9:05 – 9:47 p.m. if you’re looking to hear great karaoke this is the place. The Bar and grill doesn’t exist! SO DISAPPOINTED

My Husband and I had a great time! First and for most our waitress was great! Even when she was busy she still made sure we was straight.she let us enjoy our time and still attend to us loved that!! The manager even checked on us which was great! I like the fact he wasn’t just sitting in the back somewhere not being seen! Now im only giving a 4 star and not 5 is because The Green Fried Tomato’s!! They need some work! They are really bland and have no flavor. The sauce on the plate was pretty good. But I would prefer a more of a cup of dipping sauce so you can dip them thangs. The soul rolls where okay as well the taste was Great just wish they had a little bit more of a mixture, I felt our rolls just had mostly mac and cheese with a little bit of greens. My favorite was my fried catfish!!! Cooked perfectly! Taste Amazing!! My husband loved the Mac and cheese So Creamy!! The Entertainment was nice made the atmosphere of the night pretty cool for a Saturday night out. I was reading a lot of comments about how they include Gratuity to your bill a lot people hated it! Honestly I love that they add on 18% to your bill which I already knew about because It’s on the website! It makes sure there people get paid regardless! I go off energy so if you give good energy you will get good energy!! You go out to have a good time not to be a negative Nancy about every little thing! Plan and simple If you go out and you don’t tip your waiter or waitress you are the problem!

The soul food was superb. Short Ribs, Catfish, Pork Chops, MAC N Cheese, Collard Greens – delicious. Environment was relaxing and the service was great. Nice to notice they have live entertainment available events. Will be visiting here again soon. A great and wholesome experience.

For our first time visiting this restaurant we had an awesome experience. The food was amazing and our server was very attentive and efficient. It was our anniversary and our server Camerone did a little cheer with a sparkler for us. I was very happy with everything. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and live music.

The food was great. I didn’t like how touchy-feely the owner is with the waitresses though. After I saw him hug and rub the brown-braid waitress’ shoulder I took pics… I thought to say something but sometimes Black women buck their own protection because they’re not accustomed to protection, and will cuss out the one demanding respect for them… He seemed to know not to touch the Asian waitress though… The waitresses were very nice and professional though.

Food was great ! My friends veggie soul roll only had Mac no yams like the menu stated but it’s was super Good! The vibe was on point the music was hitting (old school 90s r&b vibe) live Band was in attendance as well! Our server was amazing and nice! We did not wait long for food !
