This was the first time eating inside the hotel restaurant. I had the smash burger double patty for dinner. The burger itself was super juicy as juices were dripping with every bite. The fries, in my opinion, were the best thing of the entree.

Not your every day kind of brunch menu. It was very upscale and delicious. The flavors of the enchiladas were perfect. It had the perfect amount of spice and seasoning. Will definitely be back to try more. Service was friendly. There is a wait to receive your food, but deserving for the masterpiece like the one I tasted. Brava.

The seabass dinner dish was great. The fish was cooked perfectly. The vegetables were a great combination of acidity/ tangy to balance the meal. It was light but still satisfying. Also had the watermelon salad which was tasty as well. I highly recommend.

Claraboya is the creation of Chef Antonio Pena, a man as talented as his biceps are wide. Since you can hardly fit your arms across his broad barrel chest, you’ll have to wrap your mind around his incredible menu. The culinary flex is impressive from this chef-driven heavyweight of a restaurant. Lubbock is lucky to have Chef Tony, and the skylight that gives Claraboya its name provides a physical complement to his lifetime of dedication to his craft, and his power lifting. And biceps Flex, Tony, flex

The ceiling decor looks magnificent, food amazing ! Marination & spices so nicely done that their Pork Chop reminded me of Tandoori Chicken (fav dish), from back home India. Duck tacos were well seared and delicious. Sauces on point.

The food and service was incredible. Every single thing we ate was perfect. The croquettes, the chicken and gnocchi, the duck tacos… the coconut tres leches!!!!! Our server, Riley, was WONDERFUL and suggested a few things– all of which we ordered and thoroughly enjoyed. Leaving incredibly full and happy. New favorite restaurant in Lubbock.

We ate/drank here three times during our stay at the doubletree. The first night we had their old fashion and raspberry drop. Both were made by our mixologist Clint and they were so very tasty! Maggie made sure to check on us often and it was a great way to end the night.

This was hands down the best meal I have had in Lubbock. The food is so fresh, and the flavors perfectly balanced (if you’re into ayurvedic cuisine, you’ll appreciate their fusion of flavors) colorful, and an overall visual delight. We had the duck and the alligator tacos, and both were an absolute delight. The watermelon salad was so refreshing, and the deserts beautifully plated and finished. Not only was the food outstanding, the service was as well. I will definitely return.
