I came here with my husband after a crazy day of working a huge garage sale. I was so hungry, and so tired, but I felt like really good food. I wasn’t sure they would “let” me eat there because – honestly – I didn’t look like I was dressed for a nice dinner. But, they were SOOOOO nice and welcoming. It literally didn’t phase them. The waiter we had was outstanding and the food was the best I’ve had in this area. THE BEST. It’s a little steep for a weekly outing (for us) but if you’re looking for an extraordinary meal then this is the place to go.

When we got married 22 years ago at Simons Rock College we finished our evening at The John Andrews in NY. For 2 27 year olds it was the most exquisite dining experience we had ever had, hence spoiling us forever. We are always in search of a dining experience that is more…. Tonight we revisited an old haunt at the The Whitehouse Inn, their restaurant, now Clara’s. It was probably the best dining experience that we have had in many years. The food, well I want to go back right now and eat it all again! The staff was so kind and friendly and got to know us by the end of the meal. I highly recommend everything! The tagliatelle was the favorite as well as the rosemary gimlets. 5 amazing stars for Clara’s for making our 22nd anniversary amazing!!!!#thewhitehouseinn

Dined recently at Clara’s and the experience was terrific in every way. Beautiful setting, friendly and attentive wait staff, a nice assortment of craft cocktails and wines, delicious food. After dinner we were taken on a tour of the secret passageway and hidden gems within this historic building. All in all, a great time. I’ve already made reservations to return.

Atmosphere was absolutely stunning! Gorgeous bar area with a phenomenal view. The view of the Sunset was breathtaking. Service was exquisite. Everything was managed effortlessly. No need to ask for anything. The food was deliciously memorable. We started with drinks, deliciously prepared. The Arancini with tomato sauce was perfectly paired. Creamy risotto with cheese and a nicely flavored saffron lightly crumbed and browned to perfection paired with a brightly flavorful tomato sauce. The Caesar salad was also perfection. Crisp romaine with Parmesan and a perfect dressing and anchovies on top. I can’t say enough about the scallops. They were melt in your mouth delicious paired with perfectly charred asparagus and a sauce to die for. I could have eaten two portions!! This is a restaurant not to be missed!
