Mostly came for the ice cream (Chocolate Shoppe ice cream gets me every time). We ordered a bacon cheeseburger pizza first, and it was really great! My husband was pumped that pickles were on the side, not the pizza. It was delicious and baked really well. Crispy thin crust. Then we got the ice cream, and Chocolate Shoppe never disappoints. All in all, the place is bright and cute, food was great, and so was the service. We’ll be back!

During our 3 day stay in Lanesboro, we made a few visits to Clara’s Eatery and had a great time with each stop there. On a busy Friday night we ordered a sandwich and panini. They were terrific!! The teenage staff there were super friendly and made the atmosphere very enjoyable while the seating got very tight. We got in ahead of the rush and we will definitely be back again.

We split a carnivore pizza and it was delicious! Great spot to grab a bite and sit in booth and people watch out the front window. Looked like they had some awesome ice-cream flavors as well.

Behind Poison Eyes
Fun, upbeat environment that thrives on its ice cream based roots. We came for their vegetarian friendly food. My egg salad sandwich was excellent! I ordered it with the suggested toppings of lettuce, provolone, tomatoes, onions, olive oil sauce on super soft whole wheat bread. Surprisingly great combo! My companions throughly enjoyed their taco pizza as well. Service for the food was a little slow, but the care that was given to our fresh made food was well worth it. If you’re in Lanesboron, give Clara’s Eatery a stop.

Perfect grilled cheese sandwich and lovely fresh fruit (kiwi, cherries, blueberries & strawberries) for lunch; my partner thought his turkey sandwich was excellent. Friendly, quick service in a bright and clean space. We will go back again.

Loved this little cafe. I got a panini while my dad got a sandwich & we both loved them. Also had to get some ice cream, because, duh. Loved the atmosphere & the staff was friendly. Will be back 100%.

Got a waffle cone and panini the other day. Both were very good! They had lots of good options, we got the “kitty kitty bang bang” ice cream and a turkey panini which were both very tasty! Definitly going to be on our shortlist when we come back to town.

When Clara’s first opened, I thought your pizza was awesome. Some friends of mine ordered a pizza a couple of weeks ago and said they didn’t like it, the crust had changed, so I thought I’d give it a try. Unfortunately, I have to agree with my friends. Something has changed, and not for the better. Please go back to the way you used to make it!!
