#update – by the time I got home my stomach hurt and I have been in terrible pain since then. Ugh I have ordered subs from here before and it was amazing. This time I went for an Italian sausage sub and it was horrible. One slab of Italian sausage (over cooked and dry as a bone), no oil and the bun was days old. It was pretty bad. Literally received a BROWN LETTUCE turkey sandwich. I mean the lettuce had been done for days. A blind man could have showed you that lettuce was spoiled so it makes me wonder what else is going on in there. What happened to the Clarence Deli?? Damn we all loved the guy who used to run it.

I’m an indecisive Libra. I took forever to decide what I wanted and the staff was very patient, much appreciated. I finally chose a posted special: “The Fred,” and it was the most delicious sandwich I ever had. (Note: it’s chock-full of pork products.) The meat was nice and lean, the bun was fluffy yet satisfying, and the oil dressing set the whole thing off perfectly. One word of caution: eat it over a napkin. It dribbles.

this place used to be great and I grew up over here. drove 20 minutes to get a sandwich because i used to love this place. just walked in at 12:55pm for lunch and the man says they’re closed. 5 other people in the store getting stuff but I get turned away? never coming back.

Horrible. Major attitude problem with the staff here. I walked out without buying all my stuff on the counter because they cashier and cook were so nasty to me. Even tho they were standing right next to each other she wanted me to take one step over and order from him. That was fine but when I did it must not have been enough. They both proceeded to YELL at me at the same time so I couldn’t even understand what the issue was. I was so excited to try the food instead of 7 11 next door. I will never go back there and I now tell everyone I know not to either. A little respect goes a long way
