Went here with two friends for a lunch get together and we ended up being charged over $80 for our food, every entree was marked up $3-5 above menu listed price on our receipt and every bottle of water was like $3. At no point did the server inform us we were being charged for water, nor did they mention that the small plate of rice side was going to be $5. At the end of the day if this is the price food needs to be set at to stay in business then fine, but don’t lie on your menu and sneak extra, bogus little charges onto the ticket

I love going here because it is unlike anything else in Effingham. Chef always surprises me with something I have never tried before. This evening appetizer #1 Chicken skewers with peanut dipping sauce to go along with a big bowl of Coconut chicken curry and noodle soup, extra spicy 🙂 It was delicious, I can’t wait to go back for lunch.

WOW. I’ve had thai food in LA, NY, and many places in between, and this is some of the absolute best. The owner/chef is from Bangkok, so it’s 100% authentic – no games. Every dish had complex and full flavors and were so satisfying. Portions aren’t too large, just right. The restaurant inside is unassuming, decorated with authentic art and Thai ornaments. I recommend the dumplings and the drunken noodles. Plus, it’s BYOB!

We were driving through town and found this place. Thankfully it was open for take out during covid. Excellent customer service. The owner Lili is from Bangkok and been here 10 years if I understood her correctly. Everything we ordered was delicious. If you live or pass by the town of Effingham be sure to give this place a try. It’s the only Thai food restaurant in town. Owner came to the parking lot to ask us how our food was. Then came out again and brought us some delicious complimentary mango crunchy rolls. We’ll definitely be stopping here again anytime we are nearby.
