Chicken cutlet sandwiches are great. The chicken cutlets are super thin – perfect for sandwiches. The parking lot is shared with a driving range and definitely gets crowded. We called ahead, and it was ready when we got there. Will definitely be back!

Great local family owned sandwich shop. Good food with many portion options. Their 16 sub is enough for two, or save the rest for lunch the next day. They recently moved across the street by the driving range.

It was my first visit to this establishment under my friend’s recommendation that he acquired from a Youtube Short. I came in with a neutral expectation so as not to set the bar too high.

This little sub shop was bustling even before noon on a Friday, but the Italian combo was worth the short wait. If an Italian grinder can be “light,” this managed to feel like it, thanks to the bread and the fresh ingredients. Will have to go back to try the famous chicken parm!

Staff is friendly but that is unfortunately where the good ends. The sales tactics here are deceiving and the prices are absolutely ridiculous! We the staff ask what size sandwich they offer 8” 16” and a round roll. So naturally you want a full grinder so you say 16” which is not 16” it is 2 full grinders!! So they sell you 2 full individually wrapped grinders and charge $26! And do not tell you it is 2 full grinders. So when you say you want only 2 grinders you end up buying 4! So walking out having to spending over $70 for 2 grinders and a cup of chicken soup and of course a tip is expected on top of all that… Never again!

Chicken was good, but I’m very confused on the hype for this place.

Anytime I drive by Claudia’s it pains me if I’m in too much of a hurry to stop and get a great sandwich packed with fresh ingredients. There is no better choice in this whole area than Claudia’s. Great chicken salad on rye today, but I should broaden my menu choices as the ham and cheese grinders I saw being made before my order were awesome. Piled high with ham. Puts any other ham grinder to shame there was so much meat. They have capicola, too, which isn’t that easy to find these days. Note: Claudia’s will be moving across the street in a larger space by March 2023 with extended hours, closing at six instead of three. Good decision.

Went to Claudia’s for the first time today. It was busy, but not crowded, small place. I ordered the Italian combo and Nancy’s special grinders. The bread was freshly baked, ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were decadent. The chicken cutlets and eggplant are paper-thin. Top 5 grinders I’ve had in CT, if not the best. Great food/service, affordable, and family-owned. Run don’t walk!

Wow these guys know how to make a proper sub. For those of you who really enjoy food and big portions look no further. You can get a wee sandwich on a little roll or go for broke with their 16 creations. Eggplant parm was always a favorite of mine growing up. Claudia’s decided to UP it and add chicken parm on the same sub. I went with the 16 inch and the lovely lady asked if I wanted her to pack up one half to take home. After she saw my look she said I could eat the whole thing now which I did. Damn it was tasty. Family owned spot and they are expanding across the street soon. Sat on the porch and it was lovely and delicious. I’ll be back.
