I truly enjoyed the food. Everything(chicken, roast beef, candied yams, greens, black eye peas, cornbread, mac n cheese) was well seasoned and flavorful, and the price was within my budget. They have a live band for added entertainment, it’s an all-around great atmosphere! I will be visiting this establishment again.

1st time there today and I’ll start with the excellent customer service. It went downhill once I got home and tried my meal … I ordered fried Turkey Chops, Mac-n-cheese, dressing (with gravy on side) and yams. I dug right into the dressing – very dry and had absolutely no flavor at all. My husband tried it and felt the same. I suggested putting some gravy on it, still was not good at all. Next we tried the Turkey Chop, this had good seasoning and was fried nicely. We tried the mac-n-cheese next. This was not good, had a sour taste like they added sour cream to it but didn’t mix it properly. Pieces of un-melted cheese, just didn’t look or taste appealing! The yams looked like they came out of a can – but if they did, they doctored ‘um up real good because they were pretty good. I didn’t even try the cornbread muffin because I was so disappointed by the dressing/mac-n-cheese that I just left the dinner on the counter!!

The place was very dark inside and spooky.. the ceiling had a leak water was pouring in where we was seated. The only thing was okay was the candied yams, that dressing tasted like I was eating dirt I couldn’t even swallow the first taste. The order was not completed we didn’t get what we ordered but I didn’t even want to waste my time to go back in there to complain to get some garbage. But I paid 85 bucks for 3 dinners and three slice pound cakes.. Never again..

Some of the best soul food and deserts I have ever had. The bartender was pleasant and welcoming… I went for food not knowing it was a lounge and had karaoke that night. A totally pleasant surprise…I will definitely be back

This was my first time here, my mashed potatoes were spoiled. I told my sister not to come to this dirty establishment, but she is so hardheaded. The meatloaf was old,the chicken was half done, this place was very dirty. The waitress was dirty she was digging at her hair. I promise to God I will never come here again. How can you sale a child of God spoiled food? 0 STARS!

Had a taste for soul food and this place was nearby. I specially asked for my gravy on the side, instead it was drenched on top of my cornbread dressing. That turned out to be ok thought because the dressing needed it! I didn’t care much for the greens either. The texture was good, butt the flavor was lacking and they tasted a little scorched. No complaints about the chicken wings. They were well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Overall it was just ok. Not someplace I’d rush to go back to.
