Traveling the scenic route between Ely and Reno, we ran across this place. We love small mom and pop diners, so we decided to stop in for breakfast. This place was amazing. The staff was extremely courteous and knowledgeable about the local history and the food was unbelievable. As we were on a trip we may never pass by Clementine’s again…but if we are we will definitely stop and eat again. One of the best little diners we have eaten at. Get the omelet. You’ll love it.

We travel a lot, and have been to nearly every notable city, town, and rural outpost in Nevada, but nowhere in the state did we have such a great experience as we did at Clementine’s. This is a family run joint, and we were immediately seen to by a friendly young man who got our orders squared away. Another sweet lady came by for coffees and made sure to keep them full and hot. Minutes later, she came back bringing positively massive plates of food, and she explained that the young man working the dining room was also cooking! Bravo to the young lad, he cooks a mean breakfast. The portions are immense, and the omelette ingredients are like none I’ve ever had before; it was real hamsteak and actual crumbled sausage! It was so good we ended up coming back again the next day for breakfast. Also, Leslie (I believe she is the owner) came and chatted with us about our travels, and we ended up spending another 15 minutes ago swapping stories and listening to her tell us about life in Eureka. She was down to earth, hilarious, and great fun to hang with. She also gave us a great tip about our hotel that made our experience in town so much more memorable, we can’t thank her enough. We’ll definitely be giving her a call when we come back to town, and visiting Clementine’s for sure!

This is a very quaint and comfortable place to dine. Located on the east end of Eureka, NV, it’s a nice place to stop, stretch your legs and get a bite to eat to warm the body. Staff is amazing, place is clean, atmosphere awesome. Definitely recommended should you be traveling through the area.

Nice lil blast from the past diner. Good food and salad bar too. Pluses – homemade buns and french fries… Negatives – They had several tap handles but they were all dry or nonfunctional. The waitress had filthy hands and smelt like an old cigarette butt.

Clementine appears on the outskirts of Eureka heading west. Breakfast not long after dawn became an oasis of cheerfulness, hearty portions, and optimism. Fantastic way to start a day in this austerely beautiful part of the world.

We were on our 61st anniversary trip, checking out HWY50 “THE LONLIEST HIGHWAY IN ANERICA.” Got hungry for chicken fried steak and “CLENTINES” showed up. Great choice!! Leslie the owner came out and greeted us as well as the other quests there. I also had her homemade potato/smoked turkey soup. I think she should sell it online and let more people enjoy it. Everything was so good we came back for breakfast, definatly not a dissappointmet. She gave us a sample of her green chile sause, it was amasing, real green chile, not tomatio. She smoked the turkey, roasted and peeled the green chile herself. WOW what a girl and food!!!
