The food was delicious. Authentic Puerto Rican food They just opened a few months ago. Met the owner who was so kind and hospitable and recommended the shrimp with yellow rice and gandules. We also got an Alcapurria with yuca (but they have guineo too). We also had Empanadas with chicken (they have beef too). They’re also on UberEats and DoorDash. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

This is a gem, hidden in plain view. Get ready for a warm inviting atmosphere. Cesar and Patti, are amazing, kind hosts. We were greeting and seated immediately and soon we were eager to look at the menu. The scent of homemade old school permeated the air, my mouth watered. We ordered stew chicken, red kidney beans, amarillos, white rice, and grilled chicken. They also shared samples of fish in an amazing sauce, guineitos y mollejas en escabeche. Patti is an amazing chef, taught by her grandmother at an early age. Let me tell you, she put both her feet in it and I will be back soon. We were treated like family and now we are. Do yourself a favor and visit them, you will keep coming back for more. They do have a few tables in there, and carry out is available. On the street parking.

First time wanting to visit this place to order breakfast on Sunday, and I made sure if they were open on Google which the hours showed 12PM-7PM. Upon arrival the door is locked and the lights are out with no open sign. On the front of the door was the hours on Sunday that shows 12PM-7PM and I was there 1PM in the afternoon? I just went somewhere else to get breakfast. I came back on Wednesday at 4PM and still closed? This is not a business it’s more of a house. A normal restaurant should be opened at least all weekday long. This isn’t it.

Please! If you love good tasting food, you have to try this place! Im a bean person and Beans where the best in bayonne hands down pernil delicious and flavorful rice great beefsteak encebollado amazing, so great I didn’t have to cook today and got to eat great my family loved it all

My partner stopped by to get some empanadas to snack as he was running some errands and he even didn’t finish eating them. As soon as he got home, he got sick right away and started puking non stop. All he had was breakfast and hours later he had empanadas, so we know for sure it’s their food to get him sick. I hope this restaurant will take this feedback to make sure that it won’t happen to other people and they will have better food quality control.

Personally went there today and I felt right at home. I met Cesar very nice and welcoming. If your looking for some great Puerto Rican food this is the place. Just be prepared to wait it’s all cooked fresh and it’s outstanding, the next best thing to a good home cooked meal.
