This place refuses to change and I LOVE IT!!. Been coming here since I was a teenager and they NEVER seem to disappoint. The food is made to order, the fries are always fresh and hot out the grease. My eyes are bigger than my stomach and I order 2 and never finish the 2nd one. The hotdogs are All Beef and have a snap when you bite into them. I’ve moved out of the area but I make sure to visit anytime I’m in the vicinity.

Maybe I let seeing the N&O hype them up so much get my expectations too high, but I wasn’t impressed here. Atmosphere was top notch and the service was great, but I came for the dogs. All the toppings on the Chicago were solid, but the bun and dog were room temp. The same temp issues with the Dixie were also there. I did enjoy the slaw on the Dixie. Maybe an off day or something, but I left disappointed. I’ll have to give it another shot.

I always enjoy eating at Cloos!! Super yummy hot dogs and French fries. Plus they have what I call the “good ice” (best flaky crushed ice) for your drinks. Awesome staff!! ♥️

Tried this place several times because it’s close to where I live, and also because I’m from Brooklyn I had high expectations. The food here is very average. The staff is always nice, but there’s much better places to get hot dogs and burgers. The wait is always way too long also, even when it’s not busy.

The French fries were perfectly crisp and served HOT! The slider was juicy, messy and everything you could ask for. Good spot for a quick lunch. They do have lighter options as well on the menu.

I’ve been visiting this location for almost 7 years now. Absolutely pinnacle of flat top burgers and dogs. The cheese steak is one of my local favorites and frankly any place I eat at is measured against this places food. Top notch and worth the wait for the food, cuz it can get super busy.. hats off to the owner!

As a Chicago native, I have to say the Chicago dog is SPOT on it’s been years since I’ve tasted a hotdog this good! My fiancé and I adore this place. The gyro; phillys and sliders are also amazing & our toddler is OBSESSED with the fries Definitely try them out if you haven’t!
