We had the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and onion rings, and a vege plate with fried jalapenos, corn nuggets and cowboy beans with sweet tea. Everything was really good. The onion rings are lightly breaded and fried perfectly. The waitress brought a raspberry chipotle sauce for the onion rings. My husband said they were good together. The chicken fried steak and gravy were on point. The waitress said the fried stuff is made in house. The corn nuggets were cooked just right, crispy on the outside and still a little creamy on the inside. The fried jalapenos had a little heat. The cowboy beans tasted so good and they serve a little pico on the top of the bowl. We brought 3 pieces of dessert home, key lime pie with whipped cream, lemon cheesecake and chocolate cake. We wanted the coconut cream pie but they were out. The waitress said the owner makes it. The key lime pie is delicious. We havent had room to try the other 2 yet lol. The restaurant was clean. I like how the kitchen is open with partial glass separating it from the dining room. It’s nice to see the cooks and the clean kitchen area. Our waitress was the only one waiting tables so we had to wait a little bit but we understood. She was constantly going and did a fantastic job! She reminded us of, bing, bing, bing, ricochet rabbit

Went in for lunch with a colleague on a Wednesday. We were seated immediately and asked what we’d like to drink. The employees were friendly and efficient. I ordered the chicken fried chicken. The food came out pretty fast and was surprisingly good. My check for the chicken fried chicken and a tea was $12. My colleague ordered the brisket special which was a great deal at $7. This is one of, if not the best, places to eat in Bridgeport. A+ on speed and quality of service, A+ food, A+ prices, A+ cleanliness. A+ atmosphere. I read some of the negative reviews and would say that my experience was totally different. This place is worth all 5 stars in my opinion.

Ate dinner at Steven St Grill Friday night with 6 family members. The food is good, but always slow getting to the table. We asked for a second basket of rolls and the waiters told us her manager just got on to her for doing that. Therefore, we only got 1 roll per person when dinner takes over an hour to get. Where is the customer service?

We love supporting local business. Our first visit was mediocre at best but this visit was in hopes we just picked a bad day. Nope! 4 full tables (that already had food when we walked in) and us. Drinks and rolls came out and then crickets for 35 min. Waitress on her phone and no food an 6:15pm. We left.

This is a great little grill with a nice variety of food. I had the bully sandwich and it was fantastic. Prentiss was my waitress and she was absolutely amazing… Very attentive and personable which added to the overall experience. Would definitely recommend this place!

I came in for the first time last night, and ordered three meals. One of them was not what I ordered at all and I somehow ended up with an extra meal. When I called the girl said she hadn’t even processed my transaction yet so she would just refund me for the first meal. Then today I see I was charged the full amount. When I called they told me they didn’t know about it or who I was dealing with and they couldn’t split the refund. They did offer to remake the meal however why would I want to go thru this again.

The steak these people grilled me was top notch. Server was attentive, but not overly so. Some places seem to dress the food up pretty to take your eyes off the size of the portions. Not these guys. Straight steak and potatoes.

My friend took us there today and we thought the food and service was great. I had coconut shrimp and my husband had fried shrimp. Both we wonderful. I also had fried zucchini which I haven’t seen in other restaurants lately. Very good.
