We drove down from Michigan to visit the Toledo zoo. The kids and I were starving after a fun day and decided to stop here to eat. OMG, I’m so glad we did. As soon as we walked in, we felt so welcomed. This place has a warm down home feel to it, like going to my aunt mae’s house. Our waitress was Miranda. She was awesome! So pleasant and attentive to us. Best customer service I’ve ever received. There was a lady cooking that night, didnt catch her name but she rocks! Our food was dee-lish, and she loaded my potato like we was family lol. We had a great dinner and i’d make the hour and a half drive down to toledo just to eat here. Thank u 🙂

Online ordering is a mess. No descriptions. Ordered beef tips & they called to tell me they dont have them, and they dont know how to issue a refund so i had to get a substitute. I also ordered a cottage cheese & fruit which consists of lettuce, tomato & pineapple. Ordered a sandwich & it didnt say it came with fries so I ordered some separately to find out it does come with a side of fries. Food was leaking all over in the bag. Put corn with my food & in a separate container which leaked everywhere.

My mom and I have been going here for years. Especially my mom. The service is always great. Especially the waitress Lori who my mother is very acquainted with. She always knows my mom never needs a menu And she’s very consistent with keeping up on drinks and checking on us. The food is always great. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone I know. My mom usually goes once a week. It’s worth every trip dollar amount and bite.

I did enjoy my first visit here. We stopped by two times since then, both times in which our food was not cooked properly. Mushrooms and fries soggy and half frozen. Meat was questionably cooked. I won’t go here again. They are understaffed so I’ll give them that, but the general attitude of the staff at this location was not good. I felt unsafe dining here, as the woman at the register was cursing and mumbling to herself. It was awkward.

It took forever to get my check. I was done with my meal. I didn’t think my server would ever bring the check so I had to go up to the kitchen to request it. When I got my check, the prices were higher than what was listed on the menu. My previous visit on a weekday around 4:00 or 5:00 p.m. went better and it wasn’t as busy.

Service was terrible. Lady kept climbing in the booth with my grandmother which was very off putting. The green beans were not fresh, cabbage rolls were ok at best. Gave it 2 stars because the lemonade and soup were good. Also got the order wrong with only 4 tables sat at the time. The worst part is, we were giving it a second chance. Last time my boyfriend ordered Salisbury steak and it was just a slice of meatloaf.
