Fantastic place! We were out of town on business, and stumbled upon this place for lunch. We all ordered BBQ sandwiches, and fed 3 people for under $25. The portions were great, and the iced tea was Southern as expected. I wasn’t a fan of the decor, but with food THIS good, and a staff that friendly, who cares?

The BBQ here is very good. They also have a kids menu with burgers and hot dogs. I go by on Fridays or Saturdays to get their BBQ chicken. They only have it a couple days of the week, but it is my favorite item on the menu. It is near the highway 109 and Gum Tree intersection. They also have a drive up window.

Replace an order and they said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Came back after 15 to 20 minutes and ask about the order. The cashier cannot find the order. Instead of apologizing they offered to make the order at the normal pace without a rush. While we are waiting for our order another customer had a partial order delivered in the Drive-Thru and again no apology while fixing the order. For a new restaurant trying to get customers in the door they should work on customer service. To be honest we have not tried the food yet.

Some of the worst chicken I’ve ever had. It was so dry, tasteless and over cooked. They put my salad in with the hot chicken. Green beans tasted like they came out of a can. Should have learned my lesson when they were Little Richards. Was actually worse this time. Will not return.

Decided to stop here on way home. Ordered barbeque tray. Was not impressed. Just ok barbeque. Drown it in hot sauce and ketsup to give it some flavor. Slaw and hush puppies ok. I see that this location is changing to Cagney’s Kitchen soon. Hopefully improvements are on the way.

Absolutely delicious, moist and tender. One note: when ordering out, don’t get the chopped sandwich… the meat is so juicy that the bun will be soggy when you get home. Either get the tray or ask for it to not be combined.
