I used to live a few blocks away from this place and would walk here as a kid. It has recently changed owners. That is why I am adding a review now. The food is fantastic! I got a triple cheeseburger and loaded fries, which next time I am asking for no onions but other than that they were great. The service was fantastic with a lovely counter girl. Only issues I had were 1. the floor needed to be mopped ” I was almost stuck to it” 2. No fountain drink only can. 3. Cash only! In this day in age it really is necessary to take electronic payments of some kind. 4. Prices are kinda high compared to most mom and pop burger places. That being said I will definitely be back!

I enjoyed trying this nostalgic burger place that’s been open since 1959. The burgers are really good they have a classic taste the way the buns are butter toasted with a crispy edge. The burger patties are thin but flavorful you can get a single Patty Burger up to six patties. There is one guy that there’s a picture of on the counter who consumed 3 x 6 patty burgers. I did well just to finish a 4 Patty burger. Lots of Elvis memorabilia on the walls

An authentic “hole in the wall” kinda place. The burgers are exceptional, made to order and delicious! The fries are skin-on and delicious! Definitely a cool little place to visit.

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it! Change in ownership resulted in a change in the way the food is made and dare I say quality of meat. . Burger Pattie’s aren’t crispy on the edge and fries flimsy and home style. Still good flavor. We weren’t greeted the first almost 4 minutes but owner was nice as pie.

I appreciate that this place is a local institution. Also, the prices are awesome. Burger is pretty basic, comparable to McDonalds or Whataburger.

This is my 2nd time eating here. The first time I got a burger and it was amazing! This time I got the steak fingers and they are AWESOME! I didn’t get the gravy this time, but I’m definitely going to try it next time. It is a bit of a wait, but it is worth it.

I had a double cheeseburger with grilled jalapenos, and it was amazing. This place has been here for as long as I remember, and the burgers are still just as good as they were in the 90s. Can’t wait to visit again!

A classic with absolutely delicious food. So happy this place is open so I and my mother could relive some happy memories. The staff was awesome, the restaurant has an old charm, and the burger was better than a Whataburger!
