The atmosphere was awesome, I love the nostalgia of the video games and the ambiance of the country chicken shack feel. The food was good, the mac and cheese was different from a southern Mac featuring a garlic and peppercorn flare. The fish was good with a seasoned exterior like a flavor dust that was pleasant and new. Greens feature a smoky flavor without the presence of smoked meat which is great for those who may not eat meat. Chicken wings were huge and fried to perfection! The shrimp served as an appetizers should have been an entrée for the size and 5 to an order left no room or desire for anything else! Did I mention the BBQ shrimp with bacon wraolp were amazing

I visited today for the first time. It was a cute little restaurant situated nicely on the Canal. It was a relaxing atmosphere. The seating is rather limited as the place itself is rather small. The food was delicious! I had the Fried Pickles, Chicken Sammich, and Fried Cheesecake…who knew Fried Cheesecake existed or that it tastes that yummy!!! I will be back with more friends!

This was my first time visiting their official brick and mortar. Had been to them when they were a pop up restaurant not far from this location. The food was on point! It appears the counter guy was also the cook. Food was delish as I remembered it. Had a little trouble finding it as it was tucked back behind the public lot and it was dark out. First walking in it was very smoky (ventilation could be better) but it didn’t deter me and a friend! My friend ordered the dirty rice and it was the best thing out of everything!

Placed an order for pickup a few hours before close. Got there at the recommend pickup time and was told by the staff that they couldn’t give me my order and something about a phone call. I had not placed an order over the phone. I asked what the issue with the order was (if payment was missing or something I would have just payed for it on person), but instead was given no information. I looked to see what customer support options I had and it is to call the store, which at this point wouldn’t provide me any information. Guess I ended up paying for nothing in the end. The food might be good but I have no idea, your mileage may vary I suppose.

Annoying that they were out of Coca Cola, tartar sauce, collard greens, ribs and crawfish at 6pm on the Friday before Labor Day. The food we were able to order was good and had a slight kick to it. Service left a lot to be desired. Great space on the canal.

Truly an awful experience here Saturday at dinner time. Somehow an order for 12 piece smoked wings and a chicken sandwich took 35 minutes when there was barely anyone at the restaurant.

Chicken is tender and juicy but a bit overly seasoned. Basically poured spicy Cajun seasoning on it and had to pick off the breading. First time I went, someone asked if I wanted it spicy or not. My husband ordered it this time and he said no one asked and he had never been to know any different. My chicken leg could have been cooked a minute or two longer as it was questionable if it was raw or just super juicy and tender. Fries were really good though! Those were bomb! Would go back, but would make sure to ask for not spicy.
