Great friendly place! Food was good. I had wings and fries. I thought the fries were handcut but they weren’t . That was the only downside. Prices were fantastic. Bartender was friendly and nice. Felt welcome and definitely will go back!

Your average tavern/pool hall/pub that you’ll find in any small town in America. I really loved it. I bet it hasn’t changed in 50 years. Good on you guys. Loved the friendly staff. The burger was good, even if well done. Lunch and beers for two old mates for under $40. 🙂

Stopped in here after hiking on the C&O Canal towpath. It’s a no frills joint. Kind of a throwback to little bar/pubs that used to be a part of every town.

Made a pit-stop here recently with my sister while cycling the C&O and had a thoroughly fulfilling lunch. The beers were cold, burgers fantastic and the staff were friendly. We also enjoyed chatting with the fine people hanging out that day in the pub too. Not much more to ask for.

Been here twice; the young bartenders seem to have an attitude, and are not attentive to your needs…. such as asking if you need anything or asking if you want another drink when your glass is empty. The atmosphere is Blah, no music playing. The patrons are the same as the atmosphere… BLAH

Best hole in the wall in town. Owners and bartenders are always great, food is on par. Pool table is in good shape, kereokee is ALWAYS a blast. One of our personal favorites just make sure ya got a pocket full of cash to fuel the good times, cash only joint. ATM on site just in case though.
