A sports team themed restaurant that celebrates its favorite teams both in sports and politics. A very popular spot, and one of few open before 8am. By the time we arrived at 8am, there was a waitlist of a few parties ahead of us. Make sure to sign in at the podium. Once we got seated at 8:30am, service was incredibly sweet and working their tails off. Coffee and drinks came pretty quickly, but it took about 30 min to get our food. Thankfully, my son was very entertained by the little basketball arcade in the corner, and the waitress kept our coffee fresh. The food itself was great. The chicken fried steak had good texture and a tasty chopped sausage link (not breakfast sausage) white gravy. Hashbrowns were a perfect mix of crispy and soft potatoes. I ordered over medium eggs but got over easy, which is fine for me. Medium eggs are hard to get right. My wife enjoyed her simple Coach’s Breakfast Special. My son devoured his chocolate chip pancake. The kid’s pancake breakfast comes with bacon, eggs, hashbrowns and an orange juice. Overall, kitchen was a bit slow but put out good food. The prices were very reasonable too.

Steak and eggs breakfast was excellent. The homemade mild hot sauce had great flavor and so did the mean green spicy one. Servers were very friendly and efficient, especially on a full house. Definitely a great spot for breakfast!

So happy that Coach’s is back! Great new space with more tables and more jerseys. Coach is such a nice person that he whipped up some chips and salsa for me at 8 AM because I always have to have his salsa when I visit. Added on a breakfast taco and some coffee to round out my happy morning.

we went here for breakfast on my wife’s birthday (4 of july) and there was a wait but a sweet waitress with red hair brought us some water and we were great! the servers are very nice and tiffany, i believe is her name, even brought happy birthday pancake for her and sang happy birthday! the breakfast taco is so good (and huge!) and their hot sauce is great too.

Very small breakfast restaurant. Waited about 30 minutes before being seated. Must order while or a little after putting your name on the wait list so that they have it in advance. So be prepared for that. Besides that, the food is good and fresh, and the portions are huge. If you’re someone who eats little, order the French toast or something small. But it’s definitely a really cool spot to check out if you’re on a small getaway to Port A.

Coaches was the best, apparently March 31, 2023 was the last day of operation. Was sad to come today and find the place looking abandoned. We used to LOVE coming here for breakfast at any time of day. Does anyone know if they relocated or got bought out? Will they be back or are they gone for good. Definitely a lost Texas Jewel.

My wife was very happy with her pancake and chicken fried steak & eggs. I had the steak and eggs but failed to read that they do a philly-type cheesesteak, which quickly “coagulated” on my plate. I would’ve preferred a regular steak, but my fault. There was a bit of a wait; however, our servers were great, and the atmosphere was lively with good music. We both felt the price was very reasonable, as were the portions. We’d recommend it for breakfast. Cheers!

This place has great food – LOVED the eggs and hash browns and would absolutely come back. Pancake was a little crispy for my liking but still tasty and very filling – you won’t walk away hungry. Only reason for 4 stars is because of how small the place is – we were told about 45 minute wait and ended up waiting close to 2 hours for a table. Definitely too small of a space for how delicious the food is, which brings a lot of customers. They call your name out loud so you have to be there. I would maybe recommend going early morning to try and avoid so long of a wait?

The best place of our trip! Must get the pancake, it was so flavorful. Everything else was very good too. But the service is what brought us in, and will keep us coming back. So friendly and memorable.
