One star is generous!! My breaded mushroom appetizer was FROZEN in the middle…We waited close to 2 and a half hours for pizzas for a table of 4. The pizzas came out so burnt we couldn’t even get them off the platter. Management took our food to compensate us, but now we left without eating more than half our dinner. Thought maybe the new management would have changed it, but seems to be the same bad service

Our food was great. The service was not! Stood waiting to get seated, waiting for for the waitress to take our order as she talked and talked to the other patrons. It wasn’t as if she was taking orders or clearing tables. Asked for one diet soda and two waters. Got the almost flat soda and no waters. My husband got his soup by a kitchen helper and the waitress was sitting at a booth with one couple and then left them to go sit at a 4 top table where she planted herself for about 15 more minutes finally she got up and walked around and she finally looked in our direction so I waved at her and mouthed WATER which hit herself in the head and went to get it. Food came finally and the boasted chicken and potatoes were fantastic! This again was delivered by kitchen help again. Not a big deal really because it came hot and tasty however as patrons left there were dirty dishes everywhere and tables were not getting cleaned up and reset for the next customer. The waitress was by no means busy. Instead if someone came in she would find a clean table or have them wait while she cleaned the table they really wanted. For a Saturday night it was somewhat slow but any more and the waitress wouldn’t be able to keep up. But our food and other plates that were brought to hungry people looked great and hot as steam came off of everything. Go try their great food but be prepare to wait on the service!

If you haven’t been here in a while like us because they had Chris the bartender supposedly managing the place and service by the all teen untrained staff was horrible, come back! Nan the manager and Kathy a lead server are great! The Coach Big Boy Burgers are cheap and the sour cream and chive fries are to die for. In the summer sit on the covered patio and look out at Lake Denoon. Very relaxing!

My wife and I went there and enjoyed some of the best fried eggplant strips, broasted chicken, and pizza we’ve had in a long time. The bartender Sarah was attentive and engaging. We are glad we visited there.

The fisherman’s platter had a little of everything, blue gill, cod and shrimp. Included potato pancakes, coleslaw, bread and applesauce. Good tasting, filling. Waitress was pleasant but a bit absent minded and slow. Prices moderate. Parking is very tight, get dropped off or take an Uber if you don’t want to to get door dings.

Very friendly service, food arrived promptly. I have not had a Big Boy burger in years and WOW it was excellent along with Potato Pancakes made the correct way! YUM!!! Hubby had Cod fish fry, that was delicious too. We will be back! Great food at great prices as well.

Service was fantastic! Portions for the fish dinner were fantastic. My husband and I share a meal due to portions often being too much. They split the meal for us even though we never asked for special service like this. Food was perfectly done and delicious and the perfect amount. Their prices were perfect for the portions. WE WILL BE BACK SOON!
