The food was okay – not really equivalent to the price, but it was a nice place to sit while waiting for a flight. The soup was better than I thought it would be. So were the arancini. The “mariana sauce” to dip in was basically just smashed tomatoes. While the wedge salad wasn’t bad, it was not worth the price at all. I will say the margarita was very nice though.

So to put in context I have worked professionally in the pizza industry. These folks are doing a great job serving customers and the quality of ingredients for the pizza is way above anything you would expect at a airport food establishment. Dough made on site.

Well, having not eaten all day and arriving 3 hours early for a flight I attempted to eat at Coals. We were told to take a seat and after watching other people come in and get waited on while being ignored I naturally left and complained to the waitress and bar tender. Never going to attempt to eat at this or any other Coals location since their definition of service is to ignore customers.

Wow, what an expensive, tiny pizza. The crust was too hard to eat around the edges and raw underneath. You’d think for that price you could get it loaded with toppings. Nope, just a few small pieces.

3.5 rating. Decent pizza but pricey. A little under cooked probably because they were so busy (they were swamped but I didn’t wait long … less than 15 min for a takeout). Thus the crust was chewy instead of crispy. $18 for small pepperoni is steep but that’s an airport for you. Overall it was filling but can’t say it was much else.

My favorite bar in the entire airport and maybe that’s because I only fly Southwest. The pizza is always amazing and I found out a few days ago that the breakfast is just as tasty. The bartender was just as sweet as Kentucky sweet tea, I think her name is Rachael? If I’m wrong I’m sorry I’ll get it right next time. Btw tell her that on Jan 4th a certain customer who already missed a flight might’ve missed that flight next to my gate, seems the officers were having a “discussion” with him at the gate. I can’t wait to come back and when I do I’ll swing by again and try it out yet again. ✈️

I ordered the Butchertown pizza. The from the cheese, to the perfectly baked crust, it was delicious. The staff recognized you within seconds of standing by waiting to be seated. Friendly staff, after my first slice, I was asked if the pizza was to my liking. That makes a difference to what I look for in a restaurant. If you are by Gates B, I recommend investing in this pallet experience.

They had very bad customer service. We got in line as they were calling out orders and one of them wasn’t picked up. After ordering our pizza was suddenly ready before we even sat down. On the cover of the box the number of the past order was obviously scribbled over. Then after confronting them they said they just put it in the wrong box.

Definitely takes a bit of time to get your food so make sure you aren’t ordering right before boarding your flight. I enjoyed everything I had and the portions were decent. I got the cheese bread and a Caesar salad. The cheese bread was a little burnt on one side, but it tasted really good except for the actual burnt part.
