My husband and I were traveling through Gloucester and wanted to stop for a quick lunch. We were actually looking for a Subway when we happened upon Coastal Kitchen. I had the Club Sandwich. He had the BBQ Sandwich. Both came with a big portion of fries. Everything was so delish and tasted fresh. The portions were extremely generous. We were very happy we found this place. The service was friendly and attentive. They serve breakfast too, and also have ice cream. Pricing was good too. Highly recommended.

BBQ sandwich was full of meat and low on fat/grease. Fresh preparation made the toasted bun a bit soggy but well worth the trouble. Meat wasn’t any particular flavor but had a light savory taste and plenty there to choose from. French fries were crisp and hot, sweet tea was just right.

This review is for the Coastal Kitchen Ice Cream store. We each had a 2 scoop waffle cone and the 2 scoops together didn’t make a single scoop anywhere else! Won’t have to worry about me wasting my money there again!

This place is a gem. I was a bit hesitant we we drove up. It is in a fairly empty strip mall. We decided to try it. My husband I shared the crab cakes. They were so good wish I would have had more. The coleslaw was yummy. The owner was fun to talk to. He cooked everything to perfection. If we are ever in the area we definitely will go back.

Our server was friendly but the food was awful. Both the white and brown gravy was nasty. The macaroni tasted old and the chicken tenders were over cooked and dry. You would think eating at a small restaurant like this would be on the cheaper side but we paid 100$ for 5 people. We could have went to a much better restaurant for that price. I would not recommend.
