Absolutely fantastic food! Started off with oysters & shrimp both were great. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection! The bone marrow butter & au poivre saucw were both to die for. Finished off with the apple mouse bomb which was one of the most amazing deserts ive ever had! Ive been coming to Boothbay for over 30 years and this was above and beyond the best meal ive had here!

10/10 in Boothbay! Views, service, sushi. The best sushi roll I’ve ever eaten (the lobster claw roll), and I’ve traveled around the world. What a special treat. Our compliments to the chef. The Angel hair pasta dish with caviar was outstanding, too. Leroy & Mike were wonderful with recommendations and their hospitality. Thank you!

We arrived at the restaurant on Wednesday July 5th and 8:40pm. The host advised us that the restaurant was closing at nine, and it would be appreciated if we could put in our order quickly. Of course we agreed to that. When he seated us to our table, the host signaled the waiter that he was to serve us. The waiter did not see me looking at him, and angrily looked at his watch, then to the host. He was not impressed.

Husband had haddock tacos and I had the shrimp and we swapped some tacos. Haddock was very bland although the fish itself was good. Shrimp tacos were a fail, too much smoke and pineapple flavor for my liking. Nice bay view, super preppy golf club atmosphere, service was excellent

I worked here for a season so I have first hand information on this restaurant A bit about my background. I come from generations of independent grocers. I worked in The Food Industry for over 20 years from Supermarkets to Fast Food to Fine Dining. I’ve eaten at world famous restaurants in various countries. All in all the point I’m making is I know my ingredients. I’m laughing at some of the negative reviews concerning ingredients. You won’t find better quality anywhere else. This restaurant makes the quality of its ingredients the main priority and being on the coast that goes a long way. I don’t think it’d be too bold to say this is the best restaurant in Maine. Unless they’ve changed they treat their employees extremely well and seek the best. Highly recommended to Foodies!
