These folks do it right. The smoker is running all night, the sides are made fresh every morning and they sell out everyday. Get there early! (check their hours and dates of operation, they operate seasonally)

This is the best BBQ in Matagorda, TX. They only sell Thursday-Saturday at 11:00am til sold out. This place is open during the months of May – September.

Wife and I stopped by for a late lunch Friday. As expected with any good BBQ place around closing time the pickings might be scarce. Luckily we stopped on a rain day and they still had some left. We decided to just try a sampler platter for a lack of better words and glad we did. I will say that our stop was great. From the awesome service all the way to some of the best BBQ we have picked up anywhere ( and we might be self acclaimed BBQ critics ). These folks are doing it right. We would recommend anyone that is anywhere close to visit this place. Regretfully we didn’t make it back on our trip this time but guaranteed to stop anytime we are in the area. Our hats off to a great couple that found what works and are doing it right. Thank y’all so much for everything.

We just stopped by for a couple of beers but the staff was nice enough to bring us some Boudin sausage on the house which was fantastic. Everyone was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was great. Highly recommend.
