We are new to the coast area and one of the reasons I’m enjoying our decision to move here is the food. Today at Coastline Caribbean Restaurant finds me and my taste buds in a happy place. We got Oxtails, Curry Chicken, and Curry Goat. All with steamed Cabbage and Rice. Fantastic! Loved my experience and service. Limited seating but enjoyed sitting and watching the Caribbean community support this establishment.

Omg!!! The food was AMAZING! Tis was my first visit. I stopped in with my Mom for celebrating her birthday. We wanted to eat in, but it was rather warm inside the establishment. I got the Jerk Chicken with peas and rice and Mac and cheese… My Mom ordered the oxtails with collards and peas and rice… The food was amazingly flavorful! Better than other Caribbean establishments nearby! I wish I could pack the cooks in my suitcase and take them home! I am not local to the area, but I’ll definitely be back!

Poor customer service. Guy was sweating while fixing plate. He misunderstood me and the nice lady at was at the cash register told him what I said and he said out loud stressing me out! It wasn’t very busying. I feel he was having a bad day from moment I got in line. I liked this place, cause for one it’s close to my house. I’ll never go back . I’ll never forget how I was treated, and I also myself had a rough day . I didn’t say anything I just walked out. With my feelings hurt.

The jerk chicken was very over cooked the rice and peas were meh, and the cabbage and carrots were literally mush from how overcooked they were. I think you have to get specific things on specific days, I love jamaican food, but this just wasn’t good. The service was cool. The tings was tingn and definitely try the pineapple ginger beer.
