I LOVE this spot. Cobble Fish is nestled on the dock right by the water at the South Street Seaport, so even if the food and drinks weren’t as delicious and affordable as they are, the view can’t be beat. We arrived around 7pm on a Friday, it was busy but we still grabbed a comfortable couch and were taken care of right away. We were a party of two, but saw a lot of larger parties easily accommodated. We loved every cocktail we tried, and don’t sleep on the fish tacos- trust. Overall it was a great vibe, the DJ helped to set the tone for the weekend. Will def be one of my summer spots.

I was expecting this spot to be more touristy and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t. That may be because it’s tucked away on the pier and isn’t in a building (no indoor seating). Just keep an eye out for the blue umbrellas. The vibe was casual and relaxing. It felt like we had escaped the city to a beach bar. I highly recommend the guacamole, tacos, and fish n chips. Definitely would return to relax and try more food.

I think this is gonna be a go to spot when it gets warmer. The lobster roll is worth it and it’s pretty big compared to other places. The fries were bomb with that white sauce. The fried fish was fresh and yummy. Everything was salted to perfection and it was nice and crispy. The atmosphere was nice especially when it gets warm and the staff was great.

Live in NYC and this was probably the BEST lobster roll we’ve ever had. Really cool Mediterranean vibe decor in the middle of crowded NYC. Service was excellent.

Great location right on Pier 16 and view towards the river and Brooklyn. Nice and polite waiter., good music. Otherwise, a typical tourist trap. Dirty seat cushions, trash on the floor. Blackboard was advertising a certain price for margarita and I ordered a margarita with an extra shot. The margarita came but it was pretty bland and I told the server it didn’t have the extra shot. Then the check came and not only the margarita was different price hut the extra shot was 80% extra. I was told the price advertised was for the frozen margarita and not the one I was served. The server went to see about the extra shot and then said I couldn’t get it taken off but I should wait a minute and would get another margarita. Then a person came and said that the shot wouldn’t be taken off as he personally put more alcohol n my drink and I drank it. No big deal and no surprise here as the place gets advertised by the boat tour company and the vast majority of customers are one time guests but so people are aware.

Very nice place to have a drink with friends – talk, relax, or pregame. Very relaxing especially now that’s summer, this place is great with the lounge and couch space.

Went for the 1st-time on a Saturday and can’t wait to return! Wait-staff was friendly, food & drinks were reasonably priced, and the location – and the views! – can’t be beat. Took great pictures with the waterfront and Brooklyn Bridge in the background. Also love that it’s locally owned (have had enough of corporate / cookie-cutter restaurants). Definitely recommend…

Over the years, we have worked with dozens of NYC venues in organizing events. The Cobble Fish team stood out for being exceptionally professional, collaborative, and committed to ensuring our guests had a positive experience. The location on Pier 16 is quintessentially New York — nestled between South Street Seaport’s historic schooners and beautiful views of Brooklyn across the water.
