Service is ok. They don’t really come around to help. There is one broth unlike other places. Everything is flavorless you have to add salt. The food quality is fine. Place isn’t bad but it’s nothing magnificent. Jazz Kat is cheaper and better by a lot. Also the bowls are children bowls. You can’t pour much soup in there.

Their prices are getting higher, from $2.99 before, to almost $6.00 per small plate alone. Big plates cost $8.00 now. Thank god I don’t go there often anymore. For 2 people, I paid a total of $92.

Definitely my favorite place to get food. The concept is absolutely amazing. You only get and pay for as much as you want. Everything is self served. You literally only have to wait for them to pour the soup base in the bowl, which is usually done the moment you get sat. Sometimes certain meats run out, but evetualy there is more brought out. The prices have definitely gone up since I started coming here back in 2012. I am extremely happy this place opened back up. I hope they go back to their regular schedule soon. I always use to love coming for their lunch happy hour. It was a 20% discount on your entire bill. I can definitely say I have been here over 100 times and counting. I will always come here for as long as this place is open.

Good deal for food and they add something to the meat that makes it addicting. Last time we were there, they were shorthanded and had to stack empty plates on other tables. Only 3 people working outside the kitchen, but they hustled.

Love the experience of self-serve hot pot + grilling – I’ve been to many hot pot places, but Cocary’s still unique. You pick out plates of ingredients (meats, seafood, tofu, vegetables, side dishes, desserts) and pay by plate. The fridges also have shacha sauce in bowls available for $2(?), and each table has some condiments, including soy sauce + vinegar. There’s also a station for unlimited porridge and rice. Even bowls / ladles are self-serve.
