My son in law told me about this Cocina after I told him I was going to another place to pick up a burrito for lunch and I’m glad he did! It was truly authentic, Central American cuisine (not that I really know what that is, but it didn’t taste like your standard Mexican fare). I had the chicken burrito and like everything you might think that goes into a burrito, this had it but, believe, the taste is amazing! I took my lunch on a hike up to Olomapli State Park – figured I needed to earn the feast…about a mile and a half, I stopped for lunch and the whole experience was fabulous! Could only eat 1/2 so tomorrow, another feast! I highly recommend!

We had a great time, our small family of three. The service was fantastic from the moment we sat down, the tortilla chips were made in the house and the guacamole tasted really fresh with big chunks of jalapeño in it, but not too spicy.

The staff were very nice. But the chicken mole was terrible. A wing and half a drumstick plus a chicken back. It was all skin and bones. Also the menu said it came with vegetables but there were no vegetables. The veggie burrito was okay but the vegetarian options were very limited.

I’ve been meaning to stop here forever and finally did this evening. Took home pork and bean pupusas, and fried plantains. Just so much better than I could have hoped for. Haven’t had pupusas in years and these are what I remember from the last homemade ones I had. The black beans with the plantains were so flavorful. Huge menu looks wonderful and I’ll definitely be back! Thank you for such yummy food!!

Fantastic, authentic mexican cuisine. Everything tasted delicious, even the chips were freshly fried. The owner and staff are also very friendly, good people. Highly recommend the pupusas and the tacos. The prices were also very affordable. Looking forward to eating here again! 10/10

Pupusas are very good there and must be eaten hot off the grill. They have Salvadoran Tamales with Chicken (no pork version) with rice or corn masa, or potato! We really liked the potato tamales but watch out for the bones and olive pits). They are flavorful and a nice change from the usual.
