Hainan chicken was really good! We also ordered seafood fried noodles and seafood fried rice. The shrimp was pretty fresh. They were kind enough to accept our special requests for reduced sodium. The staff are very friendly despite being busy.

Great food and service! They didn’t had enough help but the lady that was serving us was doing extremely well to meet our needs. My stomach was very satisfied when we leave the place

Hainan Chicken Rice is exceptional. One of the best hainan chicken ever tasted, if not the best.

Prices have gone up since last time we visited over a year ago. $15.00 for War Won Ton soup, $12 for lunch combo (entree & rice). We still decided to try it again. I was happy with the flavors and it satisfied my craving for good Chinese food. Dining room was open but we did take-out. I liked how the soup was separated with the broth in its own large container, so it was good portion soup for 2 people.

Oh my! How things change. Used to come here every week pre-pandemic, but haven’t eaten here for a while. Take-out yesterday of my usual Hainan rice was so disappointing. Lady gave me attitude for asking for an xtra side sauce. Said she included 1 & when I asked again she mumbles something about charging & how “things are so expensive now”. Huh?!

I come to Cocoin Kitchen alot. I used to order thier Red Braised Pork Belly (Hong Shao Rou) with Steamed Jasmine White Rice, Mustard Cabbage and preserved vegetables with another Brasied Pork Belly (May Chai Cou Rou) their Shrimp Chow Mein, Chicken Chow Mein and Beef Chow Mein were very good too. They have sriracha sauce here and they may offer you hot or warm tea if you request them to and warm/hot water rather than cold water with ice cubes here. They do give to go and take out with lunch boxes (Bien Dang) here. The employees here are changing too because some of the servers can be new here depends on the days and hiring more employees and servers.

Renovated interior that looks better than before. A good mom and pop place that has very good Hunan chicken. Otherwise other dishes are average. The prices are slightly higher than average too. I would go back just for their Hunan chicken.

I’m eating the Hainan chicken rice now and had to stop to write this bc it’s so good. Their version of this comes with perfectly seasoned steamed rice, some pickled cabbage/carrots, the poached chicken and two kinds of ginger based condiments. Their chicken had a little sesame drizzle on top which I never tried before but is a very nice compliment. Just a very well done version of a classic – I highly recommend stopping by here if you’re in the area. It’s a little hidden in the corner of the lot.
