Visited Cocoro Bistro tonight while on a work trip to Stockton. We arrived at 6:15 and our party of 3 was sat right away, no need for a reservation. Very nice! We did however have to wait until 6:55 to place our orders and this was after having to flag down our waitress. She admitted that she forgot. I was only concerned about ordering because they close down at 8! Accidents happen, I understand. The food totally made up for any shortcomings in service though. The Agadashi Tofu is a must try! The rainbow roll is one of the best I’ve ever had and the sushi chefs slice the pieces thin so they are perfectly bite sized. The soft shell crab tempura was good if you like soft shell crab. I find it’s not for me but I can see how others would like it. The 3 Ways roll pretty good and the grilled edamame is perfect for a spice lover! The prices were on point as well. For the soft shell crab tempura, rainbow roll, tofu agadashi, and a to go Dill Salmon roll the bill came out to $51. Not bad. I’ve paid more for much lower quality sushi at other restaurants. I would visit this establishment again and I recommend them to others!

Talk about a variety of beautifully plated perfectly made food. Asparagus wrapped beef simple and delicious. We kept the menu through out ordering as we went along. Our server was pleasant and helpful. A must try in Stockton. 8/7/23 I’ve been back more than a handful of times over the years. Order something new, Always pleasantly pleased.

Waited about 20 minutes for the server to come back to take our order and he kept helping other people which was fine but then he looked over at everyone in the restaurant to see if anyone else needed help I looked right at him we waved at him and completely ignored us I will not be coming back here again. Not to mention they are insanely overpriced for their food I’m not even convinced if it’s even good, I didn’t get a chance to try it. I do not recommend this place.

What I like about Stockton is the many, many options of food! Thankfully the husband and I love sushi. We’re always up for dining at newer places. Before Cocoro we only ever knew Misaki downtown and the Sushi buffet on Hammer Lane. Dining here is completely worth the wait on busy weekends especially if you’re out on the patio. You get to listen to the guy with the guitar (if he’s there) and enjoy the busy Miracle Mile scenery. The sushi was amazing! I was not disappointed at all. I recommend starting out with the Agedashi Tofu appetizer; simple, tasteful, and light! In the picture we have the California Deluxe sushi roll (front) and the Red Dragon sushi roll (back)- both very satisfying choices. The service was great considering how busy it got after 7PM. We’re coming back for sure. *I definitely ordered another Red Dragon roll to-go lol*

Oh hey there. You caught me with my mouth full. I got the California roll and the spicy tuna roll. Don’t bore us, get to the chorus, Kyle. The California roll is out of this world. I mean other places are fine but those others are using imitation crab meat which suuuuuucks. Emergencies only. No before you go and order yourself a spicy tuna roll you should know that this isn’t like any other spicy tuna roll you’ve ever had, cuz this one… It’s uh, spicy. Little beads of sweat on my noggin. Hawt. And so good.
