Our waiter was superb! He worked so hard to make our experience a pleasant one. He did very well with my daughter’s little children. Each time I’ve been there, he is great! The only negative was that I ordered a prime rib and they didn’t have any. I got the ribs and they were delicious!

I’m normally pretty forgiving with restaurants but I have to say the breakfast we had here was not as good as I expected. They ran out of sausage links so they substituted a sausage patty without asking. I would have said yes but they should have checked with me. The sausage patty was cold, almost frozen in the middle, and the potatoes were greasy and lukewarm. The eggs were cooked right and the pancakes were very good. The reason I’m not satisfied is because it wasn’t that busy. We were there around 11am on a Sunday so we assumed the food would be good but I won’t be back.

My wife and I both had breakfast, she had eggs scrambled, bacon and fruit with a muffin. I had 2 eggs over easy, fruit with bacon and 2 pan cakes. She had coffee and I had hot chocolate. The breakfasts were hot and timely. No complaints. But when receiving our check the coffee and the hot chocolate were $2.69 each, with the coffee getting unlimited refills and the Hot Chocolate no refills for the same price.??? We have found this in all restaurant’s not just in Yuma. This is probably because when young couples bring in young children they would ask for several cups of hot chocolate unless there is some restraint put on them for the excess consumption. But I don’t drink much coffee I’d rather drink Hot Chocolate. It doesn’t seem fair.

For the love of everything, don’t eat here. The people are so wonderful and sweet! But if you care about your body at all and are used to eating healthy, it’s not worth it. We went for breakfast.

When walking into the establishment it gave a homey and welcoming feeling, but we were proved very wrong. First off with the food ,my sister ordered the omelette but it was missing 3 ingredients to it. All of our county potatoes were still half frozen and the other half were barley even warm. When we told the server he took them and gave my mother a fresh plate. But he handed her a very hot plate on the palm of her hand, she now has a burn on her pinkie. My choice of eggs were sunny side up, but they were obviously taken off the griddle way too early. I could still see way too much raw egg whites sitting upon my eggs so much that I could pretty much scrap off the first layer eggs and make my own fried egg. My mother also ordered the coffee cake and was very disappointed to find that the cake was old, so I wonder what else can be old in that kitchen. Now to the service. It was terrible . It started out fine until my sister arrived late and how he asked her what she wanted to drink he said “What do you want?” This was very unprofessional, I couldn’t believe it! After we put our order in for our food he made a comment that made my mother embarrassed. He said ” Wow your hungry aren’t you?”….Um excuse me? You are talking to a PAYING CUSTOMER, this is NOT how you talk to them. Now I may only be a student but our culinary club is able to run a restaurant smoothly and with hospitality. This was probably the worst restaurant I have even been to. Some advice would be to hire more people that will treat your customers like they should and find cooks who care about the food that they put our because I clearly didn’t see that at my visit.

We stopped here while out shopping it was Thursday November 1st 2018 at 1030 a.m. Not very many customers. Waitress Paula was polite and friendly. Husband ordered chorizo hash and eggs and I ordered prime hash and eggs. We both ordered eggs over medium. The eggs were more done than over easy but there was runny whites. The prime rib meat in the hash was rancid, grey colored and tasted way off. I separated the meat from the potatoes hoping to savage something but just didn’t want to get sick. Both of our toasts were butter extra heavily while cold. Nothing of our meal was hot the eggs were warm so we think our food sat for while prior to being served and the toast buttered. The chorizo is difficult to tell if it is off due to all the spices but he was scared to eat it due my meat being rancid. We grew up on a farm where own own beef was served we know what spoiled meat smells and looks like. Due to politeness of server we did not complain and we fear complaining in house as you just never know what the replacement has in store for you. The only good that happened here is they kept the coffee cup full. We will not go back.

I give it two stars. The food was good the people were nice but they really need someone to just tend to the customers arriving. And the place is filthy! Maybe hire a cleaning crew, really. Place could be great but no one seems to be taking care of it.

Service was extremely good and friendly. Food was not very good, I got chorizo with potatoes and eggs on top, chorizo was dry and burnt literally had black crunchy pieces in it, potatoes were somehow hard on the inside yet burnt on the outside even the 2 poached eggs on top were way over cooked, it was more like having 2 hard boiled eggs on top. Only good thing about the food was the table had plenty of Tabasco sauce to make it edible and cover the charcoal taste.
