Don’t be discouraged about the reviews from so many years ago.

My husband and I have eaten here on several occasions without any issues. Everyone has been nice and the food has been good. We went to eat there today for lunch. My husband ordered salmon and I ordered a chicken salad. I thought that the salmon was overpowering any sort of smell that I could taste from my salad. I mean, it was a very strong horrible fishy smell. To my horror, I realized about halfway through with my salad that the smell and taste I was experiencing was from the chicken. I immediately went to throw it all up because it was obviously bad. My husband told the server and she didn’t go and get a manager or anything. He then went to find a manager who then tried to explain it all away and made it seem like we were crazy. The bill wasn’t changed or anything. Needless to say, we won’t be back which is really a shame. They lost some pretty loyal customers.

The facts: Kristian was our server, she was attentive to her tables ans knowledgeable about the menu. Our order took 17 minutes from being placed to arriving at our table, The restaurant was somewhat busy to. The table and seats were clean and the noise level of the place was comfortable. We ordered breakfast items at 2000 and there was no delay to our service. I ordered thw triple mega breakfast (picture uploaded) it was a seasonal item and delicious. Our total bill was reasonable. This was our first time eating here i wanted to see why this place had such bad reviews. I came here with questions that im glad have yet to be answered.

Delicious pies! Had issues getting them though. Ordered several pies for an event the night before. On the day of, went to pick them up but they had no idea nor any record of the order. Waited about twenty minutes for them to figure it out and they ended up just giving us pies from the case. Unfortunately they didn’t have what we wanted so we chose a few different pies. No break, no refund, poor attitude, and then they still ended up giving us a wrong pie. The only reason it’s a three star is the absolute deliciousness of the pies.

First time eating here since moving to Camp Pendleton a few weeks ago. We ordered togo after an exhausting day and I wasn’t in the mood to cook. I find it no coincidence that my son had an extremely upset stomach for several days after eating the food. He’s NEVER had diarrhea that bad in his 3 years of life. The food, in my opinion, was NOT worth the price. I would’ve been just as satisfied eating a disgusting big Mac at the McDonalds down the street. We definitely won’t be eating there again. First impressions are everything, and I don’t think I want to deal with toddler runs again any time soon.

Took my daughter’s to this Cocos for dinner, the food was horrible. Have visited the Cocos in Hemet several times, the food was excellent and ordered exactly the same meals at Camp Pendleton, awful. The fish was undercooked for my youngest daughter’s meal, my oldest daughter and I got the club sandwich, the bacon was undercooked on both, her fries were burnt, my fries were almost raw. After the meal was served, never saw our waitress again. Had to ask a different waitress for the check. While paying I told the Manager that his cooks frying was substandard, his reply; “I’ll look into that.”

HORRIBLE!!! Now I understand why there was only one other family there on a Saturday night at 7:00. The food was cold and took a VERY long time to come to us.. My garlic bread wasn’t even cooked, it was premade and cold, the cheese wasn’t even melted. The fries seemed to have just come out of the refrigerator. My husband said his burger was no better than a cheap walmart patty. Everything seemed microwaved, which makes me wonder why it took so long. My son’s fruit plate was 5 slices of melon. My shrimp scampi was just salty, no flavor other than that. Waitress brought out 3/4 meals so one of my son’s had to wait, very unfair to a small child so we gave him food from our plates. There was an error on our bill, I can only assume it was on purpose because they are hurting for business and need every penny they can get. Will never return again, this place needs to close down immediately!

Food is good, service is good. No complaints but no real wow comments either. Great dessert and ideal place for eating in large groups. Overall a thumbs up.

The food is good but the service is better. Our waitress was exceptional, even with having to put up with four rowdy Marines! And always get the pie! It’ll sweeten your day!
