Great Mexican food. Service was excellent. 2 for 1 margaritas. Mango and strawberry were good but were smaller than usual. Shrimp and fish taco, burritos were good. The fish taco was not as good as shrimp. Fish was cooked too much and very crispy. Lots of parking and handicap accessible. Hard to see from hwy 1 set back in strip mall. Sitting outside in front is also available.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I did an online order because I’m a hair stylist and don’t have time to do things all the time. I submitted my order to be ready for a later time which was over 1.5 hours later. I received my message that it was ready for pick up 10-15 minutes after I placed the order. I called and said that I was not paying 100$ for food that sat out or under a light for more than an hour. They “said” they would remake it, I guarantee you they didn’t. My taco was rock hard it damn near broke my tooth. I was very displeased. I asked my client who was in my chair at the time if they ever ate there and what was their experience…. Once and never again will they or their co workers. It’s overpriced and not that good, there is much better for the same price right down the street!

Service is great. Overall the food is good (not great Tex-Mex anywhere around SE LA really). But the churros… they are the INCREDIBLE and worth the drive alone. Any time we are nearby, we always make a point to stop in at least for dessert or snack (churros!) even if not eating a full meal. I’m telling you, these are better than what we tried in Mexico! Hot, fresh, caramel & chocolate sauce, stuffed, and served with ice cream and whipped cream!!!

Waiting for service and food was a bit slow considering there was only two tables of people but they were very nice and helpful. Now the food was great . Nice presentation and plating and very flavorful. I ordered the mini southwest egg rolls and a michalada ( one of the best Ive had).the egg rolls breading was a little on the greasy side BUT the flavor was so delicious. Sweetness with a little hint of heat . My daughter ordered street style tacos and enjoyed them very much . We also ordered a cheesecake chimichanga that we shared . Delicious!! The end price was 48 bucks ( not bad at all ! ) and I left a 10 dollar tip . I have posted photos you can take a look ☺️. We will definitely return and I’ll definitely recommend for a tasty good priced authentic experience!

This was such a great experience-Gibran was just a delight and such a great attitude and personality. From the making of the drink in front of you, the making of fresh guacamole in front of you, the suggestions for drinks and food were a plus, and great tasting of the food. I recommend the fresh tuna appetizer, the guacamole, the tortilla soup and the Mexican tacos! The ladies and all were such inviting with their greetings as soon as we walked in and left. It has been hard to find great Mexican restaurants in the New Orleans/Metairie/Kenner area.

I specifically asked for my food to be ready at 5:10pm (option given when placing my order) when placing on door dash as I get off of work around 4/430. Well while I was in a meeting I got a text at 4:14 saying my food was ready, But at the same time the first text confirmed my order would be ready at 5:10pm. I am very upset because I tried calling multiple times to see if my food was cold and the phone line was busy all 7 times. I show up and asked for my food and told them I asked for my food to be ready for 5:10pm I showed my order confirmation and then showed the two texts about confirming and my order being ready at the same time. She asked me to check my food and all food was cold except the burrito. I explained I didn’t want cold food and she didn’t offer to remake my food or have any sincerity. She explained that if you use door dash they have to make the food at the time the order is placed. I said that doesn’t make sense and if that is how that is then you shouldn’t offer online ordering with them and requests for specific times. I don’t have time to deal with rude teenagers and said I’ll take my food and told her I didn’t need her attitude and before she could speak I walked away. I will be filing a formal complaint.

I was hesitate to get in there at the beginning. Kind of small local mexican restaurant with a two section (you can walk thru a door and get another part of the place which has a bar). Nice atmosphere tho. Our waitress was so nice and helpful. I got a chicken fajita and it was really good. Much better than what I was expecting. Nice place. I would definately go there again when I am in the area.

So we decided to give CoCos another try. We went for lunch & had tacos. We had the Baja shrimp & the steak tacos. The experience we had was great. The place was quiet & the service was excellent. The chips and salsa was very good. The restaurant was very clean and inviting. We will definitely be going back to enjoy Mexican cuisine.
