I went in for a quick breakfast bite, and I ordered an everything bagel and orange juice. The bagel was PERFECT, super fresh, and toasted exactly how I like with that right amount of butter. I was also given a piece of cornbread for free, and it’s honestly one of the best cornbread I’ve ever had, and I’ve had plenty. I will definitely be back to try more menu items.

During my visit, I experience good customer service; an employee helps me navigate the ordering process [contactless ordering] as well as answers my questions about ingredients. I order the Vegan Egg Platter (the Organic Plain Bagel [v] which comes with Vegan Butter [very grainy, soft with a light crunch, tasty on its own]; Sautéed Greens [Spinach & Kale] which tastes a bit salty and is good alone; JUST Eggs which I recall coming with green onions though might come with another light ingredient or so like onions as well [fluffy and tasty though light enough flavor wise for one to add a personal touch like ketchup—I put all the ingredients on the bagel and find the meal enjoyable]) and a hot caffeine-free tea. The establishment is nice. Observing the establishment, I feel like I’m entering an environment for casual and/or serious meetings; the interior design seems set for singles and/or groups. During my visit, there is no one-facing-one seating which I kind of like (though the establishment might be undergoing an expansion because I recall seeing another portion of the building in which the establishment is with posters over the windows though seemingly not accessible to the public) as a meet-up-and-go type of design especially considering the establishment is not on the main street (a low key spot). Good vibes. The establishment takes different forms of payments.

They served probably the best instant coffee I’ve ever had, but it’s freaking INSTANT coffee. Otherwise food would get 4 stars. Indoor dining there was not fun. I appreciate ceramic coffee mugs and other washable tableware, but not the takeout plastic in which it was served. Food was fine but pricey. And my stool wobbled as I sat the entire meal.

Monique, Monica, and Jackie were so welcoming and made me the best cornbread, egg and bacon sandwich ever! The best part is that it didn’t sit heavy in my stomach like other breakfast foods. 100% will go back and try the other cornbreads.

I went here with my wife for a vegan breakfast. Wow!! The place has such a great vibe and story! When they found out it was my wife’s birthday, they celebrated it like it was their own. Extremely genuine and touched my wife so much she teared up. The food was excellent. My wife’s vegan choices were plentiful and truly on another level compared to other vegan options. I had non vegan and the chicken and waffles were out of this world. We shall become regulars here. What a gem in Montclair!
