We stayed at a hotel within walking distance of Coffee Girl. Very cool place, kind of hidden in the rear of the Pier 39 building, but has a great view of the river with outdoor seating as an option.

Asked one a local high school kid what I couldn’t miss while I was in town. “Coffee Girl” was out of his mouth before I could finish the question. Fantastic little spot. Fun to walk to if your close. If not you drive your car across the wooden dock. Also fun.

Coffee Girl is hands down the best in the area. Their fresh house made pastry selection is divine, their lox&bagel was the best I’ve had on the Oregon coast, and the kindness from the staff even when extremely busy is impressive. Simplicity done right! I’ve never had a bad experience here. Couldn’t recommend enough.

My wife really enjoyed her Cherry Almond Scone. She is not a scone kinda gal but she would order that everyday. I had the Almond Poppy Seed Scone. It’s probably the best scone I’ve had. We took the Pecan Bar to go. That was even better. The coffee was good and flavorful. We would go back next time we are in town.

This place has one of the best breakfast sandwiches I’ve ever had. Definitely not a NY BEC, it was an open faced scrambled egg sandwich with ham and melted cheddar cheese, plus an extra thin layer of cream cheese underneath. Would go back to Astoria to get this! The place was big, with plenty of great views of the river, and the staff was friendly. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars for the food was because the mixed berry smoothie was extremely sweet. I was expecting something slightly tart and “healthy tasting” but instead it was like drinking berry jam.

Tasty food and drinks. The best bran muffins you’ll find. This is a great place to meet a friend for a coffee, followed by a tour of the Bumble Bee/Hanthorn museum.

A must try while in Astoria. The pastries are on point (the German chocolate cake is my favorite) and the coffee is excellent. It’s one of the best coffees I’ve ever had, and great view of the Columbia River.

Must-do stop in Astoria for your coffee fix, right on the Columbia. Housed in a former cannery the shop is an homage to the “coffee girls” who kept the cannery workers fueled with coffee on their breaks. Nice selection of pastries and some light breakfast and lunch choices as well.

We love stopping here on our trips to or through Astoria. Always great food and service. Coffee is great, and the deserts are awesome. Had the peanut truffle brownie on this trip, and it was amazing. The drive or walk over the bridge is fun, and just the nostalgia of it all makes it worth it.

This coffee shop is to die for. The coffee is GREAT, but isn’t like the worlds best. It’s so much better than Starbucks, Dutch Brothers, Black Rock & Seattles Best. But, DAMN these smoothies are HEAVEN!! I wish I got a smoothie like my hubby instead of coffee. It tastes like your drinking the worlds best cobbler!! The marionberry cobbler bar is incredible!! They are super busy so it took forever to get our coffee, but worth every minute! We stood on the pier while we waited!
