I thought I was getting a big loaded bake potato but it wasn’t big. It was actually a regular potato with just butter , cheese and sour cream that’s it. No season at all. The links, and brisket not grilled at all. The brisket is dry this not the place to come too if you want that pit taste. I would not recommend this place for BBQ at all.

We had dinner at Coker’s earlier this week and decided to dine inside. They weren’t very busy and that sometimes worries me that a business might be struggling, so please go give them a try and support them. The dining room was very clean and the server was polite and helpful. Our food was well prepared and delicious!

I have driven by Coker’s BBQ for years and the outside looks so unkempt that I have never wanted to venture inside to try it. It doesn’t have a fun rustic look, it looks like it may or may not be open and may not have been occupied for years. I was pleasantly surprised when I went inside and it does have nice clean decor and friendly service. You sit down and order from a server instead of the usual tray line ordering. The bbq was ok. It wasn’t terrible and it wasn’t great. We had sliced brisket and ribs. They both tasted like they had been cooked in an oven and didn’t have much smoke flavor. They weren’t bad but there was nothing notable and it was more like eating a roast than bbq. The sides we had were potato salad, fries and mac and cheese and nothing stood out as better than average.

We’ve been going here for a several years and it has just gotten so much better. Ate there last night to celebrate a birthday and man it was sooooo good. Got the monster potato and it was so worth it. Their spices have improved as have their sides. The service was great and they genuinely care about what you order. The interior has improved as well! They really have done a great job with the place!

This is by first time stopping in here. I’ve driven by it many times and the parking lot has always been empty which is usually a bad sign for a restaurant. The staff was pleasant and greeted me as soon as I walked in. She told me about the daily special which was a sandwich, a side and drink for $10. I chose the brisket sandwich and it was pretty good BBQ. I would eat it again but it wasn’t mouth watering that I just couldn’t ever not eat there again but it was better than Jambos that’s across the street.

Sadly disappointed in our last visit late on a Saturday afternoon. No problem with placing your order at the front counter before you seat yourself. Employees are friendly, courteous and quick to serve. Hubby and I ordered the combo plate with 3 meat choices. The kiddo wanted the typical chix strips and mac/cheese. Food came out a little too quickly. All meat was obviously pre-sliced and kept under warming lights or rewarmed. The ribs were a bit dry on the outside but had a tasty smoky flavor. It’s a shame that you could tell they had been cut some time ago and lost their moisture.
