Homey, authentic Colombian spot in Hawthorne. Came here on a Tuesday evening for dinner and got seated immediately. Indoor dining only. Credit cards accepted. They spoke in Spanish but there also pictures on the menu for non-Spanish speakers. The atmosphere felt as though you were invited into someone’s home to eat.

Really great service! Carlos took the time to explain what each dish was and what the drinks were. The food came out pretty quick considering we were a large group, and everything was hot and full of flavor! I had the lomo and tried a beef empanada. Will be coming back to try more!

I came here looking for good food which it was good and It felt like visiting family, until, I Place an order and the lady said 30min I got there 30 more minutes passed by and the food wasn’t ready. I asked the guy what happened and he got livid, furious, and was shouting at me and got in my face i felt scared, for me customer service is important, and if I’m treating a person with respect, I expect the same respect. When I got home to my food, there was hair in my food and it was super cold.

The service was okay. They were nice but very quiet. Didn’t really greet us when we came in, and came to our table without menus. The food was okay too. The arepas we got were hard and not hot, and the cheese wasn’t melted, although they tasted good. The hot chocolate we ordered was nice and hot but watery, even though we asked for it with milk. The best part of the food was the huevos pericos and the empanadas. Overall, the amount of food we got for the price was very good and we left very full. But we’ve had better Colombian food. We did enjoy seeing Colombian grocery items that we hadn’t seen in a long time.
