We booked the $65 Sunday Brunch in The Colonial Room, and when we arrived they told us it would be in one of the ballrooms so they could better accommodate a private event they had in the room next to it. As you sat at what seemed to be folding tables, it just felt awkward, like you were crashing someone’s private event. The lights were on full bright, bright enough to cause a headache, and the sound system sounded muffled. The food was fine, I was looking forward to the prime rib but that lacked flavor and was cold. A lot of the “hot” items were cold due to the lids being left open all the time. There’s a very large variety of items to choose from so if you have a large group looking to have different foods, it could be a good option. The service was good, all servers were prompt and very nice. We didn’t order any additional drinks and with tax and gratuity the bill was $165 for two people. The hotel itself looks very nice but I feel for that price, if they’re just going to put together something that felt very “make- shift” in a ballroom, they should notify you and give you the option to cancel.

Wanted to give this place a try after seeing it on open table. The photos looked really great with the outdoor seating area. However, when we got there it was booked for a shower. I wish it would’ve stated that particular area was not available for that day that was one of the reasons I booked it. But, the food was phenomenal! Everything was well seasoned! The mango margaritas were a hit! I will be returning here hopefully I’ll get the chance to experience the outdoor seating next time.

Had my first visit today and was happy with the overall experience. The food was delicious and the service was good. We were the only ones dining for lunch. The bookbinder soup was impressive! The server even surprised us with a birthday dessert before we could order dessert for my aunt’s birthday. Took one star away because there were no tablecloths on the tables and I thought the wall displays could have been more elegant looking. We will definitely be back!

The death by chocolate is very good! The ice cream has to be ordered as a separate order but worth doing. Really want to try their high tea! Their brussel sprout salad is super, but order it at the restaurant for some reason it’s a dollar more at the bar. The Sunday brunch is extensive, something there for everybody, and the food was fresh until the very end.
