Average experience at best. When we were walking by noticed all the other restaurants were packed, but this one was practically empty. Shame to because they have some nice outdoor seating. They only serve pizza (which is incredibly odd, no burgers, no sandwiches…?). Pizza was small (only serve one size, also odd). It was good, but greasy. Ordered a Cigar City beer, which came in a comically small mug (included a picture), which was $8. $8 dollars is excessive for a local beer, but with this small mug, just a complete ripoff. Waiter was decent, but this place needs a complete redo on their menu and the size of their beer mugs.

A heavy hitter from the northeast makes its way to Florida! I don’t think people understand the significance of a pizza joint like this. This will hopefully raise the standard of pizza places in the greater St Petersburg Area. What makes it so great? The Connecticut thin bar-style pizza. You get Ingredients from tip to crust, perfectly cooked firm crust holding all of your quality toppings in place, no flop. I’ll be back for sure!

If anyone knows the origins of Colony Grill, they would know that Colony only serves pizza, plain and simple. I hope that never, ever changes. Thin crust, hot oil – You either love it or you don’t. They are from Connecticut. I lived in CT almost my entire life, and now that I live in Florida, where the pizza isn’t great, it’s awesome to see Colony here. So glad you guys are here, Colony! A little taste of CT, now in FL.

I went here for the first time on Saturday. The pizza was good, the service was a little slow, and the atmosphere felt like a pizza place parents in groups to, so they can drink beer and let their kids run wild. There was a large table full of multiple families with kids randomly popping up and screaming. These places are needed, but I don’t think it fits downtown. I may give it another go as I liked the pizza, and that may not be common there, but I have a feeling it is. It’s not good for a relaxed meal. It’s one you have to speak loudly to each other to hear above the noise.

Pizza was great and our server was friendly, knowledgeable on the menu items, and attentive. I’m not a huge pizza crust fan so their thin pizza and barely there crust ranked high in my book. Will definitely be back! P.S. try the stingers

As a New Yorker, I am VERY picky about pizza. Very picky. I was pleasantly surprised when my wife and kids strolled into this place. The atmosphere has a cool, NYC vibe with a long bar, lots of big screen televisions, and plenty of room. Our server, John, was one of the best, most personable folks we met while vacationing in the Clearwater area. The menu is not big, but it has variety. If you love beer, there are dozens on tap and in bottles. But the star is the pizza. It is as thin as a Ritz cracker, with a ton of flavor. We had the Margharita and the meatball. Both were excellent. If we lived in the area, which we are hoping to do next year, this place would be our “Go To” pizza joint.

Needed a bite to eat while in St. Petersburg. While walking we saw a beautiful bright looking pizza a couple of ladies were eating. It looked delicious so we stopped in.

We stopped at Colony Grill because of its great location on Central Ave and because they had many outdoor tables were we could park our bikes. Great spot for people watching. Having said that, we went in with low expectations because they ONLY serve PIZZA. See photos of their whole menu, that is it. Limited topping options and only one Crust. We are very picky on Crust and I only like thin crispy Crust, and they got it perfect! You start with a $10 pie, then add toppings for $1.75 each. We went with pepperoni, sausage, bacon, mushrooms, and black olives. It was delicious!

Ok. Let’s start with the good. Staff was super friendly and pretty o. Top of it. The remodel looks amazing. Plenty of space in and out. So why the 3 stars? They serve pizza. That’s it. 1 style. Minimal topping selections. And to be quite honest. It’s not the best pizza in town. They have a great bar set up and have the NFL package, so I was told, however they have 3 tvs. Yes just 3. I wish them all the luck. But with an abundance of other pizza spots that serve better pizza with other options other than pizza.

Love the hot oil pizza here! A sleeper hit is the breakfast pizza. So delicious. And I’d be remiss not to mention the amazing service here. Everyone who works here is so friendly and welcoming! Definitely stop in for some pie and a beer.
