Great neighborhood spot – we live nearby and like to come here for a cozy meal. They have a simple beverage menu with a few affordable and mass-appealing bottles of wine available. For a meal for 2 people including 1 appetizer, 1 salad, 2 entrees, and a bottle of wine, our bill came in just under $100 (before tip).

Tonight we had the pleasure of eating in Paola’s restaurant. A small corner of Italy in the heart of Los Angeles! Hospitality and quality are the key words to describe Colori Kitchen! There is a great variety of traditional Italian dishes! We can’t wait to get back !!

Delicious home style Italian food. I had the bolognaise. It was delicious. My friend had a very large lasagna. He enjoyed it as well. The calamari steak appetizer was also different and good. The service was prompted and efficient. All in all a good experience.

We were customers before they moved and still are. I just picked up an order for 8 people which was delicious and ready for pickup when I got there. They are extremely accommodating. Couldn’t ask for more.

Some of the reviews here say the pesto spaghetti is good. It’s not just good, it’s DIVINE. The best texture, creamy and rich and full of basil flavour. Sauce to pasta ratio is insane. Get it – and do yourself a favour and get the lasagna too, and the bolognese. We didn’t get a chance to try the cioppino, but next time for sure. We also had the calamari special, with a delicious smoky flavour that was to die for. Overall one of the best Italian restaurants in LA for sure, and low-key as well.

EVERYTHING they serve is excellent! The service is homey and top shelf! I’ve been a patron since they started at the original location with just the chef and his wife. Unlike myriad “Italian” restaurants, this is owned and operated by Italian people!! In all these years now I’ve NEVER said “it’s usually much better” or “they must be short-handed tonight,” because they’re ALWAYS most superior and NEVER disappoint!!!!!

Service was attentive and the food was delicious. I had the spaghetti al salsa rosa and chocolate mousse for dessert. Great comfort food in the heart of downtown LA.

Came here on a Saturday night with friends. Would recommend getting a reservation cause the place is on the smaller side. Had the Spaghetti with pesto + chicken topped with cheese. The prices are reasonable and the food was good. Servers were friendly and attentive with our needs and water refills.

Yes dine in. Yes still BYOB with no corkage Fer for the first wine bottle. Yes the calamari is still divine. Yes the specials are incredible (new york steak meat special) and yes the cheesecake is as good as ever. Treat yourself for getting fully vaccinated and spending a year in social distancing by coming here for dinner!

Italian is one of my favorite cuisines and I’ll eat as often as I can. Colori is one of my go to Italian restaurants. It’s not a fancy place, it has more of a mom and pop feel to the place and that is what makes this place great. Their food taste as if they have an old Italian Grandma of Grandpa in the kitchen cooking up their secret family recipes. Couple dishes I love are the lasagna and the spaghetti carbonara. As for their deserts, their cheesecake is sooooo damn good. They’re working on getting a liquor license but in mean time you can bring your own bottle of wine…that is when they’re allowed to serve people indoors.
