Haven’t been there for a very long time. I met for lunch, and was really surprised. It was a very nice place to meet. Very clean place with a very friendly staff. I was pleased to have gone and probably will return. Food was very good and choices were plenty. Had a nice condiment bar. Plenty of seating and a relaxed atmosphere. If you haven’t been in a while, it’s worth another visit if you’re looking for a BBQ.

Two things I noticed about this BBQ, either the meat is day old meat or smoked on the fly AND if it is old meat was it re-heated with propane? First bites were OK and as I got to the end of the PoBoy, I got the sharpest taste of propane. Not definitively sure it was propane but I know the taste of it. The fries were amazing just because it is freshly cooked. Hospitality is spot on nice. Clean restaurant. One review states this place has a cafeteria feel, what BBQ place doesn’t have that feel? This is Texas BBQ right? I went to Pensacola, Florida where I had chopped brisket and it easily won my approval despite being out of Texas. Maybe I might come back in a few years and see if this BBQ improved any.

My husband and I have been going to this Colters Bar B Que for over 20 years now. The food is good and service is fair . We stopped going as much now because I noticed the prices jumped up tremendously in the last 6 months todays date is 4-2-2023 . Just a little bit too expensive for us these days . Unfortunately we are not able to take our grandsons out as often to Colters because of the price increase . I think they are a little over priced now . Too bad we really enjoyed going with our grandsons

Food has never been an issue here, but the service at the window was unacceptable. The man that works there blatantly ignored us at the window and walked off more than once. Me and my family come here due to convenience. If I come and spend my hard earned money….almost $40 bucks I expect a hi or can I get you anything else and especially a damn thank you. I will take the additional 10 minutes to drive the opposite way and pay $10 more dollars for better service.

I ate here a few times when I lived here. Still has a pro cop feel to it, but the food hasnt seemed to change much. the bbq is still decent , the price isnt bad and the portion sizes are pretty good. The serving of ham pictured was very filling. I had totake a walk yo digest it all. You can go low calorie with vegetable sides and unsweet tea. I usually go for the combo plates to avoid excess bread. You can do that here. Overall good

Haven’t been to this place in years, so we decided to try it. We ordered the #2 family meal. None of the food was “hot”. The meat was Luke warm we had ribs which was ok but you could tell had been sitting around for a while, sausage seemed to be undercooked and not hot at all and tasted like store bought sausage and low quality, and brisket which had flavor at all the sides where Luke warm too Mac and cheese very bland and not good at all, turnip greens came out of a can and nothing was done to spice it up, and Cole slaw which seemed like they forgot the slaw part as it was dry to say the least. It was all bland with no season at all. For the amount of money we paid I can tell I won’t be back anytime soon.
