This is a place for locals. They need some better service and to clean up the site a bit. The exterior is so beat down you’d think it’s closed. The food was actually good but overpriced for what you get. Host / owner wasn’t very friendly but wasn’t rude either. Didn’t seem happy to have a new customer.

Very delicious vegetarian dry noodle bowl. It is a must try even if you are not vegetarian. It comes with a broth of either chicken or veggie. The salad is like no other salad you have tried before it is simple but extreamly flavorful. There a a chicken pho place with option of vegetarian soups. The first photo is a recent picture broth not in photo. They use to go bowls so you just have to ask for the tops if you have left overs. The second picture is prepandemic. Super yummy.

My food arrived late and cold. My soup was also cold or room temperature. I requested breast & wing and a side of giblets. I got dark meat, With few piece of meat and mostly skin for an almost $21 ( (not including other charges). See the pic, very disappointed!

Hainan chicken rice is delicious, especially chicken. Every order cmoes with o bowl of soup. Although it is located in the SJ downtown, they have parking lot, so it it very convenience.
