Stopped in to grab some takeout. The gentleman who took my order was very nice. Had a decent margarita while I waited for the food to be prepared. Unfortunately, the food itself was disappointing. We ordered a couple of quesadillas, some enchiladas, and chips and salsa and only the chips were really good. The other items were all average or below average. We wanted to like this place as it’s close by us, but for the money, there are too many better options.

Delicious authentic Mexican food. Good prices. Loved the chile verde burrito. Great Al pastor tacos. Breakfast items some served all day. The refried beans were the best we’ve ever had.

Rafael is the man! Nothing but top notch service and quality food. Some of the best service I’ve had in Boulder! The margarita was excellent. The barbacoa tacos and burrito are amazing. Queso is amazing and so are the staff. Can’t wait to come back and support the business!

Friendly enough service. Tamales tasted like they were out of a microwave and to be honest a bit like dog food. The chicken was weird and clearly from out of a can and also resembled/tasted like dog food. On one of the other reviews I noticed someone said the same thing. I also noticed someone called this “authentic Mexican” I’m guessing boulder us the furthest south they’ve ever been.

The server Rafael does a good job handling even a full restaurant. The tortas I’ve had have been delicious both times, although they weren’t very generous with the asada for $12.99. The pastor is super flavorful, and will probably be what I lean towards when I eat here in the future. They charge you $1.25 for extra salsa and are very skimpy with their portions of guacamole and sour cream. Anyone who’s worked in a Mexican restaurant before (ie. me) can tell you that salsa is the most inexpensive thing on the entire menu and should be unlimited for all intents and purposes. Overall, I will definitely be back but at $18.50 for a torta and horchata it certainly is not the best value in town.

This place has great food for a very reasonable price and there’s a lot of it. The service was really friendly and we had no complaints. There were free refills on the horchatas which we delicious. We all went home with leftovers. The entire party unanimously liked the place.

Solid typical Mexican dishes. I usually go with their tortas. Great service. If you’re the type of person that likes kale in your taco… this probably isn’t the place for you.
